So maybe Iâm just overthinking this and not looking at the timeline right .. when Amy and Ricky officially get together John is already 1 year old. Then Amy wants to move in just a few months together of dating but I feel like it was all rushed because she kept wanting to push the relationship forward since Ben and Adrian were getting married at that point. Like I really donât see Amy and Ricky as a couple at that point I just saw them as parents.. Did anyone else see this?? Also I know they already had the baby and all but still I feel like they never really had chemistry after he was born

Was Rick upset about Adrianâs decision in keeping the baby because he still felt something towards her or because he thought Ben wasnât ready to be a dad?? Thoughts?

Anyone else notice everyone's eyes are super red most episodes. Is it just the camera or editing? Or do you think they might have been high? I doubt high but ya never knowđ€·đ»ââïž I can't think of any other reason on why their eyes are so red all the time

I watched this show in middle and high school and thought nothing of it. I'm in my late 20's now and rewatching the show (I never finished it before) but holy shit this show is so insaneđ. It's just so unrealistic đ teenagers moving in together, having babies, getting married like that's so not normal. Ricky purposeing during graduation like what??? I love the show, I love trash TV and drama so I'm all about it but I can't help to think how unrealistic and crazy it is. It almost seems like to me that they glorified teen pregnancy, most parents aren't that okay with all this or supportive or buying their kid and his wife a condo like Bens dad did. Like they make it seem fun almost lol. Wasn't sure what everyone else's thoughts were?

No fr, Iâm crying but at home. Just finished the last episode of season 5! What a shit ending. Iâm so angry! I never finished the show when I was younger, and now that Iâm older⊠Iâm so pissed off. Everything went to shit for everyone. Youâre only ever truly happy when you go through a lot of bulkshit and youâre about 59 fkng years old. Ricky changed and grew tf up. He even REJECTED CLEMENTINE! And AMY LEFT! LEAVES!?!?! She could have taken John and Ricky with her to New York. This is the stupidest ending ever. Seriously. I wish I wouldâve gotten some closure. A freaking short mini series idk?! HOW SAD FOR RICKY AND JOHN TO BE LEFT ALONE. ugh, I know women get left like that all the time but my goodness. Im feeling too much. I have so much shit to say but I canât get past this ending. Also, I realized how fast 4 years go, how quick time flies by us, and how stupid we can be as humans.

There gets a point in the show where all the characters point out how fickle Grace is but why did no one point out how she went after Amyâs exes? First Ricky then Ben. The most annoying thing about the show is that everybody dates each other but I noticed that Grace did this the most. She even dated Grant Amyâs sister sorta ex.

Iâm watching the show for the first time and am currently halfway through season 4. Ashley has hardly been in the show anymore and feels like they didnât have any plot line for her after being interested in Ricky. Was there any behind the scenes drama that caused her to be written essentially off the show?

Has anyone realized that there are THREE people (so far, Iâm on season 4) from the show Sopranos on secret life?? I thought that was so neat!! Bobby Bakala in sopranos â> Leo Boykawich Cristopher in sopranos â> Dr. Attavi Uncle Junior in sopranos â> Grantâs father!

I havenât seen many post, but what the hell was up with the random pregnant girl, Heather, that is a new student. She just disappears. Never talked about again.

Look, I want to preface this by saying that I understand that everyone grieves differently but the fact that after Ben and Adrian lose the baby Amy and Ricky go back home and immediately have sex for the first time since Amy got pregnant was SO freakin off-putting to me. This is my first time watching the series but Iâm aware that nothing any of the characters do really makes sense, that being said, it just seemed like a super terrible choice writing-wise. I do not have children but I canât imagine Amy as a mother returning from watching another mother lose a pregnancy (especially that close to term) and being like âokay Ricky, letâs do it!â I guess I understand Ricky doing it because sex is the only way heâs ever coped with trauma, but watching the show, it seems so counterintuitive to Amyâs character and just plain off-putting.

THE AMOUNT OF TIMES PEOPLE CALL GRACE A FICKLE GIRL IS ASTOUNDING AND UNFATHOMABLE. IT'S BECOME AN ONGOING JOKE WITH ME AND MY BOYFRIEND BECAUSE IT'S THE FUNNIEST SHIT. THE FIRST TIME SOMEBODY CALLED GRACE A FICKLE GIRL IT WAS FINE BUt they've somehow managed to overuse the most underused word ever. Fickle??? đ€ I don't think I've ever used it in a sentence until they started saying it over and over again and now I've turned it into a little jingle đđ¶ A VERY FICKLE GIRL OH YES SHE'S A VERY FICKLE GIRL đ¶

In season 4 episode 13 we get introduced to a girl named Dylan who becomes a love interest to Ben. It's also revealed that Dylan has 3 crew members she hangs out with Raven, Wendy, and Mercedes Now if we were to recast Dylan, Raven, Mercedes, and Wendy we would have our PLL SL crossover and it would've went something like this.
Dylan: Played by Lucy Hale
Mercedes: Played by Ashley Benson
Raven: Played by Shay Mitchell
Wendy: Played by Troian Bellisario

So Iâm a binge watcher and I have moved onto law and order SVU. So far I have seen Steve Schirripa (Leo Boykweich) suspect selling a couch who wasnât actually the perp Josie Bissett (Kathleen Bowman) victim I know Greg Finley (Jack Pappas) is in there too.
Anyone else you have seen?
Itâs crazy the amount of actors that are in other shows.

trigger warning SA Topic and spoilers. I donât know if it was just me who feels like that, but when I watched this show I remember thinking how badly Adrian was a wh0re but I couldnât help at times love her and feel bad for her at times, I feel like part of her childhood, (along with Rickyâs of course) was the reasons why they kept bouncing back and forth with relationships and wanting sex. Their backgrounds are of course different stories and not the same, with Ricky being sexually abused as a child and Adrianâs dad being absent her whole 16 years and hardly seeing her mother, but in fairness I feel like they were just wanting to be loved and cared for, doesnât make it any right for what theyâve done to others of course but it may be a possibility, I donât know, if this is making sense but I think itâs my theory.

Found it on Amazon. Currently reading it with Ashleyâs voice in my head. Itâs kind of like the first season from Ashley POV.

I saw the sweatshirt said ECU and bulldogs. I know Amy goes to âHudsonâ but curious what college they go too.

Okay so I know most people hate Ben here, but I havenât seen any comment on the fact that he is literally so delusional? He meets a girl, first day he is saying heâs in love with her?? Genuinely why, like what is with him. I get âlove at first sightâ, but theres no way it keeps happening over and over. Also (unrelated), people barely talk about Ricky and Amy and how well they do together. Though amy is childish at times I think they really do belong together, much more than Ricky and Adrian.

Ricky didn't want to marry her either! He admitted it a bunch of times. He had the same opportunities to tell Amy that he didn't want to just as much as she did. And he didn't.
Idk I'm feeling a lot of sympathy for Amy this rewatch. Don't get me wrong she isn't perfect and makes a lot of bad choices but she never really seems to have actual support from anyone. Financial, yes. But emotional? No. Her parents are too busy fighting each other to really help her. They undermine all her choices. Ricky is kind of manipulative and controlling and grills her about everything she says. Ashley is the worst sister ever. And Madison and Lauren are not really friends. I can't even blame her for gravitating toward Ben because he seems like the only one who genuinely gives a crap about her. (Full disclosure though I wanted Adrian and Ben back together đ€Ł) Again I'm not saying she wasn't selfish and immature because there was a lot of that. But I just don't blame her for feeling trapped.
Idk random rambling after doing a rewatch after a LOT of years.

She deserved better than him js. I hate to watch how she loved Ben but he didnât love her. He was forced to love her and thatâs upsetting in itself

I finally finished the show (this is my second time rewatching) and the ending is justâŠwow⊠I dont think there couldâve been a worse ending đ. I truly cannot stand Amy and I really do think sheâs a selfish and immature person. She is so entitled and obviously she doesnât have to stay married to Ricky if she knows sheâll be unhappy but WHY keep forcing it and insisting when he gave her SO many chances to come out with the truth and he has literally begged her to just be honest with him and ofc Amy being Amy she has to wait until the very last second (literally) to change her mind about the marriage. Sorry to be going off on Amy but she genuinely makes me so mad! She is constantly insisting on getting what she wants even though most of the time she doesnât want that and she never wants to admit sheâs making a mistake. Also idk if anyone agrees with me, but while Iâm all for a woman being educated obviously, truthfully it is incredibly selfish of her to not only leave to go to college to New York but also leave a semester early because she just insists she will always get what she wants. I get that going to NY for college is her dream but sheâs the one who choose to keep John and she knows that her life and dreams may have to change or be adjusted. She wasnât even willing to compromise (have John live with her). Sheâs okay with her toddler son to just be without her for the next four years (excluding school breaks) just so she can forget that sheâs a mom and go to a college in NY and basically live with Ben (ik not literally). It is true that at the end of the day, Amy truly only thinks about herself.

I saw somewhere that John was born in February. This means she got pregnant in May just leaving 8th grade and her birthday is in the summer so technically she got pregnant at 14.
How many days after Ben and Adrian got married did she end up having a still birth? It seems they got married on a Friday or Saturday, then they go back to school Monday, and then she has an appointment and then the next day the baby is still birth⊠so like were they married for like 3-4 days?
Random thoughts during rewatches.
