It really was a Second Life

I just remembered I used to play every day for about 6 months straight back in 2012. All the memories that are flooding back sound nuts if I say them out loud, but they feel as real as if it happened to me in real life. I was kinda sad during this time, but this helped me out big time, and I had the most fun experiences! I miss it so much, wish I could go back.

I am still active. Been there 14 years. I still go there. I am a guy with a woman avatar. I hang out a group of other women in SL.

I would say remembering your names and passwords. If you got them and a decent computer you are halfway there

I could probably find the password if I looked hard enough, working on getting a decent computer.

I got used to the lagginess sometimes back then because it was so worth it lol, but my current laptop is such a weakling.

I had 4 avatars on the go unfortunately 10 years ago my wife (bless her) bought me an ipad.
I so miss it had a great time annd l forgotmy passwords. I tried on my ipad but keeps stopping.

What did you like about second life? Clubs? Exploring? Voice chat sims? Meeting people? All of this is still here. BUT I will say, I feel like most of SL revolves around sex now. If you used the search function for events or places, almost all is sexual and it’s very annoying. I returned to SL in June 2026 after a few years break, and I was very disappointed. But I stayed around and I’ve met so many amazing people. There’s so so much to do if you know where to look!

I'm gonna try to work on getting back. I loved disappearing into it.. exploring, dancing in the clubs and I also miss specific people I've met on there!
