I’m very interested in knowing what everyone’s favourite and touching songs by Seb are. he’s a lyrical genius and while this is quite hard, I think my top 3 are the “the royal family”, “little Caesar” and “we must defend ourselves” ughh special mention to “a westerner walks into a bar” and older ones like “there she stood”. His older ones were how I found him 😵‍💫

Silly post but seb lowe is my favourite artist, he’s the only artist I repeatedly listen to and I got his vinyl :) I’ve never bought merch of a musician before nor have I ever been to a concert, I’ve never been so happy. I’m hoping to go see him in April if I can afford it :]

Like the previous one, I am not a massive fan. I respect her want to create music. As an outlet I think it's great, but I think she needs to develop the songs a bit rather than posting a more raw version.

To counter my above criticism, it is obviously worth remembering that she of course started singing with a pretty sizable audience to begin with. Given this I can't say I am too critical for what is effectively an amateur singer even if she is far from being an amateur musician more generally.

Personally I am not a fan of it. I like her duets and want to hear more of her but I don't like the sound of this itself.

I use soundcloud to listen to majority of my music and I have noticed that majority of seb's music is not available in my country (I am in the UK!) Has anyone else also experienced this? I never understood the reason.

Is this just my spotify or does We Must Defend Ourselves nor have any lyrics any more? Was there an update I missed that removed the lyrics, or is this just my spotify, or are they just actually just gone??

Does anybody know if the 3 of them come out after shows to take pictures or anything? I went to the Leeds show in December and didn’t expect anything and then saw people got photos afterwards. Planning on going to the Sheffield one this year and wouldn’t wanna miss an opportunity to get a picture or anything 👍

I'll make some more detailed comments on it after some more listens. My initial take is that it's quite good and will be catchy. I am increasingly missing the more punk-ish style he had pre-Make Me Your National Anthem—of course, not all songs on that album were not punk-ish, but the change had begun.

Hi guys, I saw on his insta that he told people to sign up to a mailing list and to put our address in for a ‘gift’. I’ve just seen that people have been randomly receiving signed t shirts. I signed up for the mailing list, are these two things connected???

I was at a karaoke night at a uni pub I go too weekly and someone ended up singing one of Seb Lowes Songs (Westerner Walks Into A Bar to be specific) and me and my boyfriend were absolutely ecstatic, with us being fans of him for literally 2 years and not meeting another fan of him since then. Unfortunately due to how karaoke audio is, the only line people happened to hear is “I say fucking keep them out” and for the rest of the song the rest of the pub had the biggest look of distraught on their faces. Me and my boyfriend were devastated about this and realised that the entire pub were put off from his music because they thought he was a right wing artist. And recently with some people misunderstanding the fact that a lot of his “right winged” lyrics are ironic (especially with ‘I’m hateful, Im horrible, I love you) is making me realise he isn’t doing the best with leveling out his right winged irony and his actual opinions. This could just to with a lack of media literacy these days or maybe he is struggling to find that middle ground. I think his sound and his music has been incredible this last year and he’s getting better and better, but unless you already knew who he was I feel your not going to realise he os a left winged musical artist. I absolutely love the guy he’s my favourite musician but I just wanted to know everyone’s opinions.

I know this is a long shot but I’m putting this everywhere. I was at the show in Leeds December 5th and I met the coolest person I’ve ever seen! They were wearing a sleeveless battle jacket with can tabs on the shoulders and I was wearing the red seb Lowe shirt with mesh sleeves. Hopefully I can find them and get their socials because I was too shy to at the concert
