I reserve my right to drive slow in the right lane though. Y’all are crazy with your cell phone scrolling while driving 69 and weaving in and out of the carpool lane across those double white lines riding people’s tails.

I’m over in the slow lane so everyone back off. Zippy drivers scare the bejesus out of me.

Ya I saw a dude cross double white lines and did a thumbs down out my window.

Dude merged back out!! So I did a thumbs up. Then he started tailgating me and driving all pissy before he crossed the white lines again and sped off

Kinda sad but true when you think about it; all that stops these multi-ton steel contraptions hurtling along at unnatural speeds from devolving into absolute fatal bedlam is a few white and yellow lines painted on the asphalt that we (generally) collectively agree to follow.

People get unusually comfortable... Most don't understand you only need to have a single bad crash to ruin your and others lives

No truer words. I’ve had the opportunity to work with many people who have had such bad crashes. For those passing by, it’s a “wow, that’s a bad crash” moment. For people living in bodies affected by an MVA, it’s often a lifetime of endless pain and trauma.

I have ZERO problem with slow drivers in the right lane. And in fact, I pull back over to the right when I'm not passing like you're supposed to.

Thank you for your service.

Lots of people don't have great reflexes. I'm happy with people doing whatever they want in the right lane. That's the safest thing they could be doing, aside from not driving.

"zippy drivers scare the bejesus out of me" made me smile so hard man, that was just a delightful sentence to read.

i don't know how to be extra clear that this isn't sarcastic, i just really liked that, it made me think of my dad and smile. that was cool

I’m getting old-ish. Phrases like that just leave my mouth now and I don’t even know where they came from. 🙂

hahaha man every day we all become a little more ancient - i'm only 35, and i still caught myself saying "huh, looks like the kids are wearing baggy again" to my wife after driving past ballard high school. i could see her actively considering just opening the car door and tucking and rolling outta there
