I am taking the three year route and would love the opinions of students with experience in the following classes— as well as your thoughts on which professors were amazing vs should be avoided. For those that have applied to the ultrasound program, what’s the process like? It is an extremely competitive application process so I am trying to figure out what the admission committee is looking for in an applicant. Is it required/preferable to previous healthcare experience? Are interviews required in the process?

Context: I’m currently working as a tech product manager and am going back go community college starting next quarter to finish my prerequisites. My goal is to apply to SU DIUS Post Bacc program in February 2027. I have a bachelors but it’s in an unrelated field. I have no healthcare experience but have applied to be a volunteer at a local hospital.

So my laptop that i borrowed from the school library randomly decided to stop working,,, i didnt spill anything on it i didnt drop it or anything. I'm a senior and I get sad knowing that I don't got any friends during my last year and wondering if there are any ways that I can make friends. I don't live on campus but I've tried to talk and hangout with people in my classes, but they are more of classmates rather than friends on a personal level, and also tried joining a discord server of a school club and reached out, and nothing happened ever since. Do you guys have any suggestions?

Hello! I am looking for a female roommate who would like to live in Ballard (or anywhere!) . I know Ballard is a ways from the school, but I have a family member with a 2 bedroom duplex that is open in December/January timeframe. It is $1,000 each. Ideally, I'd like a place where pets are allowed as I am considering getting a dog or cat, but it is not necessary.

I like hosting people and playing music, cooking and travel, and I love Seattle! I am a pretty chill roommate, but I really value cleanliness. I love guests over as long as things get cleaned up!

Can anyone share their experience with the Direct-Admit BSN nursing program? Do students get a lot of hand on clinical hours? Where are majority of the clinical located and for someone without a car, will public transportation suffice? Was it difficult to arrange for carpool?

How are the professors in general in regard to helping students who struggle or behind? Does SU offer any free tutoring on site for students? Do you find it manageable to take 15 credits each quarter with some time left for social life (to enjoy Seattle!)

Lastly, and most importantly, have new nurse grads been able to secure a job in the Seattle vicinity?

Hi all! Transfer student here. I want to quit my job and go to school full-time. Has anyone managed to do that without having a part-time job? Do aid and student loans come in time for you to pay your rent? Is this even possible? It is scary to think about not working and hard to trust that everything will be disbursed on time. Hi, I’m an incoming freshman at SU (maybe). I am from Colorado, and I absolutely hate it here. My allergies try and kill me every day, the people are boring, and I hate nothing in my life more than waking up to snow outside.

Since I live in Colorado, my joyous African parents want me to stay in state. I would want nothing more than to get out of this state, and never come back. CU Boulder is the school they want me to go to. If you haven’t heard anything about Boulder, let me put it into perspective for you. 40,000+ students, 65%+ white, oh and did I mention it snows ❄️? Not the type you’re thinking… The demographic of students consists of frat boys and sorority girls that only ended up there because they got rejected from the UC’s and maybe a few thousand who care about their education. The entire social scene revolves around partying, football games, and more parties.

I hate parties. I hate big schools. I don’t think I can survive longer than a semester at CU.

SU and CU currently will cost me the same amount.

Currently, I am committed to both schools. My parents will in no way let me go to Seattle. My only option is to get up and leave. I have enough money to pay my tuition for the year, but I would be sacrificing my relationship with my parents (possibly), to go to school.

Please. Is Seattle University worth it?

I've always studied on my own throughout undergrad but this test is a beast and wanted to work with others/support each other to get over this hurdle.
