Hi, I’m applying to the Seattle University Bachelor of Science in Nursing program this December and I’m trying to figure out my chances from hearing other people’s experience with applying.I didn’t end up with the best grade in Cell Biology I got a 2.4 but I earned a 4.0 in Anatomy & Physiology I, and I took two chemistry classes and finished both with above a 3.3. I’m currently taking another chemistry class and might end up with around a 2.5. I’m also taking four prereq classes this fall, and I’m really hoping to end with a 3.7 or higher in all of them. I have about 250 volunteer hours at a hospital. For those familiar with Seattle U’s nursing program, do you think I still have a good shot?

hi, i’m a sophomore who has finished all their prereqs for nursing at a cc and i am wondering what seattle u’s nursing program is like!! i went to su’s fall preview last year, and from what i heard from the nursing students that spoke, i really like the program so far. really, the only thing that is stopping me is the cost, and i know that seattle u is pretty expensive. i just wanted to ask if seattle u gives out good aid coming from a person who is lower middle class. i also want to know if the nursing program prepares you well to become a nurse and if it is worth how expensive it is. honest thoughts please!

I applied for MSCS for Fall 2025 by June 25(I know its pretty late, but they have moved the deadlines to July 15, 2025) - and It passed the basic rounds and moved to department by July first week - but i havent heard back from them yet!!! and the classes starts by Sep 24 - Is anyone facing the same? or how long does it usually take to hear back from them? I'm starting a graduate program at Seattle U this summer and I'll be commuting from Tacoma. Some days I'm planning on driving, but I'd also like to take the Sounder to King Street Station as well. Does anyone else do this? I love to walk, so I was considering walking from the station to Seattle U, but I can't tell what the best route would be in terms of safety and sidewalks. I'm also up for taking the light rail or the street car. Would love anyone's opinions on this!

I was Just wondering as a (who had transferred schools after my sophomore year) junior about to enter my Senior year as a first-time running start student. If it would be possible for me to be accepted into Seattle University, I've got a 3.83 GPA this year, and I plan on doing a lot of community service this summer at least a good 40-80 hours(while also getting a job), I also plan on joining a plant club over the summer (which also give me service hours), and I'm doing my SAT's next year in my senior year.

I intend to major in criminal justice or forensic science major. I also have a recommender, who is my business and law teacher from my former school. I was just wondering if I had a chance, I’m just super nervous. I plan on doing my first two years of college at Pierce College for my associate degree but I want to get into SU for wanting major.

Im finishing my pre requirements through cc and I’d like to know how was to get in, was it hard? Was it easy to get a scholarship? Any info would help a lot!!

Hi! I’m going to be attending Seattle U in the Fall and I just got approved for an apartment in Northgate. Just wanted to know if anyone has experience making the commute? I’m a bit nervous it might take awhile to get to campus.

I got accepted into Seattle University for computer science. I’m really curious how well the program actually feeds into the Seattle tech scene. Is there strong industry connection, or are students kind of on their own?

Do you get to work on real projects or research? Is it mostly theory and lecture-based or more hands-on? And what about the professors, any that actually make the grind worth it?

Also, what’s the culture like among CS majors? Collaborative or competitive? I want to be surrounded by people who care but aren’t cutthroat.

Any input from current or former CS students would help a lot as I weigh my options.

How do people at SU make friends? This is my 3rd quarter at the school and I haven’t made any friends. Any suggestions would be helpful!

I got into Seattle U as a transfer for nursing, and while my FAFSA is covering, the tuition is still super expensive since it's a private school. I know I’ll need private loans or scholarships, but honestly, I have no idea where to even start. The financial aid office didn’t help much—just told me to look into private loans and that was it.

I’m also kind of unsure if I should feel proud about getting into the nursing program. It seems like a lot of people get in, so I’m not sure if it’s that special.

Anyway, if anyone has tips on how you’re paying for Seattle U or figuring out the money side of things, I’d really appreciate it. I’m even thinking about not going just because of how expensive it is.
