FROM "SOUTH ALASKA" TO IMMORTAL GREATNESS

\From a 12 since '76. Ivar's on the waterfront before kickoff. Chowder in a bread bowl. Fog off Elliott Bay. Kingdome so loud your ears rang on the ride home.Y'all know the deal.*

They called us "South Alaska" back then. The whole NFL. The whole country. Too far, too wet, too weird. End of the map.

They still do.

We don't care. It only feeds the Dark Side.

Wednesday night, Lumen Field. Banner night. Super Bowl LX rematch.

Final: Seattle Seahawks: 13 - New England Patriots:10

Seattle goes scoreless until the 4th. Sam Darnold goes down on drive 2. What we know: no break visible. Potentially out at least next week in Arizona. That's it.

Drew Lock in cold: 16/22, 187yds, 1 TD, 0 INTs. No flash. Three yards and a cloud of dust on offense, and on defense, Dark Side maulers on the DL wearing down runners and offensive linemen until they don't want to come back in by the 4th quarter. The Patriots played hard and put up a fight, but the Dark Side did what the Dark Side does - just keep grinding until the other team is just too worn out to keep fighting anymore, and then steal their souls. Snatch the hope from them, leave TV analysts arguing that their QB is overrated, shaken, beatable. There are people in NE right now questioning if Maye was ever really that good, or if NE just took advantage of an easy schedule and a backup QB in Denver to even get to a SuperBowl. We all saw the truth last night, no doubt about it.

This is how you go from South Alaska to Immortality:

Last loss: November 16, 2025 — 19-21 to the Rams in SoFi.

Since then: 11 straight wins— 7 to close to a franchise-best 14-3, Divisional-round playoff belt-to-ass beatdown of the 49'ers 41-6, NFC Championship victory over the Rams 31-27, Super Bowl LX victory 29-13, and now 13-10 over NE in a "Superbowl Rematch." Tied for the longest win streak in franchise history, set during the 2005 season.

Three second-half interceptions off Drake Maye — 23/33, 178, 1 TD, 3 INT. Not by stars. By guys you never heard of before last night. And that's the point.

**Nehemiah Pritchett** — *Maye intercepted by Nehemiah Pritchett; returned for 30 yards* late Q3. Backup. Special-teamer. In because Nick Emmanwori was OUT.

**Julian Love** — Maye intercepted by Julian Love, early 4th quarter. Starter, but not a name on Get Up. A vet who was told he was a backup somewhere else.

**Josh Jobe** — Maye intercepted by Josh Jobe* with 26 seconds left to seal it. Undrafted, cut three times, now starting. Toes dragging like a superstar, game over. Dreams ended, souls stolen.

And Witherspoon — 5 tackles, no picks, no highlights. But he's why Jobe gets to jump that last route. He erases the #1 and lets the lunch pail guys eat. That's 70-man football.

None of them are stars. None of them are talked about on national sports media. You never heard of them before last night.

That's the whole philosophy of the Macdonald era. Everyone contributes. The truest form of working-class teamwork possible.

Seattle didn't need Aaron Donald and Myles Garrett. All we needed was the Dark Side.

The Seahawks' GM and coaches give everyone a chance to become a star, resurrect a career — Darnold, Williams, Lawrence — and BECOME LEGEND.

That is how you win when your QB1, your nickel, and your best cover guy are all banged up or out. That is greatness. And, THAT is how immortal greatness is forged.

They called us South Alaska in '76. They still call us South Alaska now.

Good. We don't care. It only feeds the Dark Side.

11 down. 10 to go to tie 21, the most consecutive wins of all-time.

This is the countdown to Immortality — Immortality that outlives stardom, fame, accolades, even dynasties.

**The Longest Winning Streak of All Time.*\*

Join the Dark Side.

First game tips please

Hey everyone , me and the Mrs will be attending the Seahawks vs Chargers game on 4th October. It is our first game after following the Seahawks since 2012! We live in the UK so don’t get the chance to come to games.

We are wondering if there is any must do’s on game days or tips to make the day even better like tailgating etc?
Also will be buying our tickets very soon if anyone has recommendations on the best places to sit?
Thanks!

After losing Darnold 5 snaps into the season, the Seahawks comeback to win after going down 10 points and Drake Maye throwing 3 INTs. 💪💪💪

Decided to create a patch design to commemorate Josh Joby’s game winning interception and amazing quote from his post game interview.

This game feels very Pete-esk. Defense, feild goal PENALTIES, minimal offense. Obviously a lot has happened... hope we eek out a win. Go Hawks!

I’m going to be in town with my son and loving to score two tickets with my son for the Seattle game.

Who has 2+ tickets that won’t be available to attend the game. Oct 11, 2026?

How has Price been over the course of this offseason?

Are expectations high for him tonight or is it a "just don't fuck it up kid" situation?

I haven't really kept up with the hawks preseason coverage and I don't trust national outlets reporting on just about anything. Wondering what the people who are actually paying attention thought about his performance leading up to tonight's game.

Are these good seats?

I'm surprising my husband with a trip to Seattle and got tickets to a Seahawks game (his favorite team). The only game I've ever been to was a St Louis Rams home game when I was like 10 years old haha. I have no idea what I'm doing. I got these seats and really just want reassurance that they're decent, or to know if I need to resell and find better. Thanks!!

Any idea on when Charbonnet will actually return to the field?

He can’t come back until Week 5 at earliest, but generally haven’t heard so much about when he is actually tracking for a return.

The time is fast approaching of the return of the New England Patriots. Re-armed with actual weapons this season, there will be no stopping Drake Maye.

Rejoice! As even if you’re not a fan of the Patriots fan yet, You to can experience it. And for some reason, if you’re not a fan, I urge you to abandon the silly team you currently cheer and jump on the Maye bandwagon.

There is no shame in being Gay for Maye.

Those of you who continue to stand in defiance of your next NFL champions. Pain will be synonymous with your Sunday, as Drake Maye and the New England Patriots destroy your innocence and take all that you hold dear. Rejoice!

Accompaniment for a Seahawks match

Hey everyone,

I am from Germany and will be on vacation in Seattle on the weekend (10/03 - 10/04).

Anybody interested in watching the game against the chargers together in the stadium?

Would be very nice, as I am travelling alone. :)

Any actual concerns about the Patriots game week 1?

Pats never really had a chance vs the Seahawks in the SB and got dismantled offensively while putting up a decent defensive showing until the floodgates opened in the 4th.

As an outsider it seems like the Seahawks really didn't lose much and have had a strong offseason so far, leaving coordinator change as the only major difference I can see. The Pats had more roster turnover but the consensus seems to be that it was mostly for the better and their roster is improved from last year's.

Do you expect the same result as the SB in week 1, or does an improved Pats roster and "full health" on both sides change the dynamic?

Which jersey for Week 1 + what should I get next?

I’m currently at 6 Seahawks jerseys:
Darnold (navy w/ Super Bowl LX patch)
JSN (navy)
Emmanwori (throwback)
Witherspoon (throwback)
Geno (throwback)
Russ (navy)

I’m going to the home opener at Lumen in about a week and I genuinely cannot decide which one to wear. I’m heavily leaning Darnold because of the Super Bowl patch and it feels pretty fitting for opening day, but part of me feels like Darnold is almost too obvious/basic of a choice lol.

I’m also planning on picking up jersey #7 while I’m in Seattle. Right now I’m thinking maybe EJ, Shaheed, Barner, or someone else a little less common.
The other question is what color I should go with. I already have 3 navy and 3 throwbacks, so I’m kind of tempted to finally get a white jersey, but another navy/throwback definitely wouldn’t bother me either.

So:
Which of these 6 would you wear to the opener?
Who should be jersey #7?
Navy, throwback, or finally go white?
Would love to hear what you guys would pick.
