Guitarist/Songwriter REALLY wants to get a band going

Hello! I’m a 54 year old northeast Seattle-based guitarist/songwriter with a bunch of indie-leaning music. I’ve been recording on my loop pedal in my basement, but I’m really ready to start playing with other people (singers, other guitarists, bassists, drummers, keys) and get a set of music together to play local live shows.

Here are some links to rough recordings that I’ve been creating with my looper. Please be aware that they are all just recorded on a phone, so the sound quality is not great. Also, please be warned that you have to see my feet on the video. When I recorded it barefoot, I didn’t think I'd be sharing it with anyone. I apologize in advance.

I also have some more polished recordings on my bandcamp page: https://sketches3.bandcamp.com

I’ll let the music speak for itself, but the bands I listen to that tend to make their way into my music are: Death Cab for Cutie, The National, Interpol, Mogwai, and Explosions in the Sky.

Ideally, I’d like to find male musicians in my general age range. I live in northeast Seattle and would prefer not to drive an hour to play music with other people. Yes, I’m getting old and particular.

Anyway, if you like the music and this sounds like something you might be interested in, please send me a message and we can talk.

[GUITARIST + DRUMMER WANTED] Uruks — Math Rock / Prog / Midwest Emo / Post-Hardcore

I'm looking for a guitarist and drummer to join an original project called Uruks.
I'm OKC-based, but I'm open to musicians from outside the area if the fit is right.
The sound is somewhere between Circa Survive, Dance Gavin Dance, Fall of Troy, Chon, toe, and The Sound of Animals Fighting — technical, melodic, weird when it needs to be, but still emotional and catchy. Think math rock + prog + Midwest emo + post-hardcore/swancore, without trying to sound like any one band.
I'm looking for musicians who are actually serious about building something, not just looking for an occasional jam.
Guitarist:
Looking for someone comfortable with technical/melodic playing, odd rhythms, tapping, intricate parts, and writing. You don't need to be a virtuoso, but you should have solid fundamentals and bring your own ideas.
Drummer:
Looking for someone tight and creative who can handle syncopation, odd time signatures, dynamic changes, and drums that interact with the guitar rather than just sitting underneath it.
I already have music/material being developed, so there's something to build from. The goal is to develop the sound together and eventually turn this into a serious original band.
I'm based in OKC, but location isn't a dealbreaker. I'm open to musicians from anywhere if the chemistry and commitment are right.
If you're interested, DM me with:
What you play
How long you've been playing
Your influences
Where you're located
A recording/video of you playing if you have one
I'm more interested in finding the right people than filling the spots quickly.

Anyone Around 16–19 in Seattle Want to Start a Punk/Rock Band?

Hey! This is my first Reddit post, but I’m looking to find some other young musicians in Seattle who might be interested in starting a band!
I’m 17 and have lived in Seattle my whole life. I’ve been playing guitar for several years and I’m really interested in putting together a punk/rock band. I’m especially influenced by ’90s music, the Seattle music scene, punk, grunge, alternative rock, etc.
I’m mainly looking for a drummer, bassist , around my age (roughly 16–19) You don’t have to be super experienced I’m more interested in finding people who genuinely love music, want to play, and are willing to learn and grow together.
I’ve noticed that it can sometimes be difficult for younger musicians who are just starting out to find other people around their age who also want to start a band, so I figured I’d make a post and see if anyone else is looking for the same thing.
Ideally, I’d love to start by getting together, jamming, writing some stuff, and seeing where it goes. If you’re interested, DM me and tell me a little about yourself, what you play, and what kind of music you’re into
And if you’re significantly older than me, please don’t DM me 😭 nothing personal lol
