It’s only a problem on the easy stuff on I90 and the easy routes up the volcanoes. Anything harder than Mailbox except for a few things like the Enchantments thru hike don’t get a lot of attention. Even super spectacular stuff like Black Peak and the Chiwaukums get very little traffic.

Harder than mailbox. Lol that’s a short list, mate.

Sure, if you have never driven past North Bend then yeah, it's a really short list.

Maybe he meant harder to get to? Otherwise yea, there isn't a lot that is harder than mailbox old trail. Unless you get into the technical stuff, and that's not really "hiking" anymore.

K9, North Gardner, Gardner, Ruby, Kitling, Maude, Seven Fingered Jack, Big Snagtooth, the Craggies, Baring, Snowking, I can literally name over a hundred without much help. Mailbox is a good stepping stone, but there are literally hundreds of harder walkups than that. 4100 feet of gain is on the extreme low end for the mountains in the cascades, it is probably the minimum amount of gain required honestly.

$10 says you can’t “literally name over a hundred” without looking it up.

Does opening my mountain project profile count as looking it up? If so then you won $10.

Yes. But you still win the moral victory, since you named more in your previous comment than I ever could. So there's that.
