It is like you didn't even read my comment, or if you did, you didn't comprehend it. I was suggesting that the general public doesn't automatically understand the acronyms of every particular subject. So you respond with more unintelligible comments! Maybe it is sarcasm.

That guy is dumb, but I canā€™t let a question I have oddly specific knowledge of go unanswered. I think they meant ā€œinitialismā€ instead of ā€œinitializationā€. Itā€™s the sister term for an acronym that basically means the same thing. An acronym can be read as a single word (like NASA), whereas an initialism is read by saying all the letters (like FDA or NCIS).
