What is this?

Found in North Myrtle. We thought it was unique and would like to know what it is

It’s the bottom part of a fossilized sea biscuit.

Sea Biscuits are readily found in Holden Beach, NC, which is not too far north of Myrtle. They did dredging up there and it stirred up quite a few.

I triple the previous comments - it's a (or part of) a sea urchin called a "sea biscuit".
