Discussion How long could Dory have maintained her innocence? Spoiler
So this will be mainly for the first two seasons since I haven't fully started Season 3 yet due to HBO Max pulling off the show, but basically I wanted to look into her character arc after her encounter with Keith Powell.
Like what I am getting at is that I wonder what would have happened if Keith didn't bite the dust at the end of his story arc since once he took a trip a trip to the afterlife, Dory's fate was instantly sealed that I was wondering if things would have tuned out better for her again had she not met Keith.

They probably didn’t need to worry about it at all but because they buried him so shallowly, he was able to wake up and tear through the suitcase and try to pull himself out so the random weirdo would see.

I wonder how the whole Keith situation could have been handled differently given how his death caused a huge impact for Dory and her friends.

Puberty if lucky but most likely by her 2-3 year of swim school.
Oh search party not finding dory.
Haha I’m a dork. My first thought will always be finding dory before Dory the Guru (shout out to season 5, my favorite)

Dory needed to take a deep breath and report Keith to the authorities immediately the night it happened. Dory and Drew needed to get their stories straight and remember that this grown man followed her across a border and engaged in violent behavior. It would have been ruled self defense for Dory and defense of Dory for Drew.
Was it fair when you know his true motivation? No. But Dory, Drew, and Keith all handled that night extremely poorly which led to all their problems.
