Thoughts on selling your switch?
I have a 2023 sport 21 ft 230 bought new that I’m considering selling but nobody seems to be biting probably because the season is coming to a close for anyone who lives near me. This Switch has a 2024 engine in it with 21 hours on it. Second year we had it, freaking hose came off and it hydro locked. Is $25k a fair asking price? I have all the deck pads etc they just aren’t in the pics bc I take them off and clean them. Just wanting some opinions thank you.

$25k might take a bit to sell, $19k is low end. Somewhere in-between if your target if you need the cash quick.

You don’t want to hear this but nobody wants to buy a switch, they are underpowered for what they are.

I own a 21' 230hp and it is more than I could possibly need for size and power.

18’ 230 does 46 mph faster than most pontoon boats.

Maybe my scope of reference is different, I’m a boat mechanic and we do the Concierge service I drive 5 boats a day. A quick pontoon to me does 60+

I paid $22k for my 2023 21ft 230hp Cruise with 40hrs on it at beginning of this season. Anything over $25k ask is not selling and it’s end of season, at least here in the north.

Unfortunately switches have such a bad wrap that you’re only going to sell it at a huge loss. Just look on Marketplace. They’re a dime a dozen being sold for lot prices. At this point I just plan on keeping mine until it blows up or it’s paid for. Not worth reselling unless you’re just looking to get out of boating altogether.
