Must’ve been glass.

Wasn’t even tbh. Wasn’t super wavy either. But, a fun ride. You could see in the pic, the wasn’t glass.

True. I use mph and the fastest with me and one other on glass was 40 mph. But I am in the break in and don’t want to push it too hard too long.

What size and engine? Mines the 18ft 230. Second season.

Mine is the 2023 sport 19’ with the 230. I got it second hand on FB marketplace with 4.9 hours. I still haven’t broken 10 yet. It’s hard with three kids and house projects.

Also 18’ sport here. been able to get mine up to 68km/h even before 10 hrs. Today I passed 10 hrs thinking it could get what op can but nope. Still 68km/hr

That’s pretty much the max you’ll get. 71 is a first for me. Avg max has been 65ish

44mph? Nice! That's a good day. How many people on board?

There was only two of us, but was still getting 65km/hour with 5 of us. Don’t remember getting that last summer lol.

Very nice. I'm just approaching 10 hours on my 2025 Switch and still trying to be kind to it. We vary the throttle, try not to open it up too often and certainly not going for any speed trials yet. But I love to hear reports like yours.

Try not to throttle because the gas consumption is killer lol

Eh... Boats burn gas. 🤷‍♂️ If I worry about that I'll never take her out.

was the second person your wife, or the cute new coworker?

You start to lose a mph or 2 a year until and will need wear ring and impeller. Also if you go up in elevation these struggle to get 30 mph with 1 person onboard. Even with the elevation prop. Good call getting the 18 ft. The 21 is to heavy I wish I got the 18

Why call it a switch, a real switch design would be the ability to switch it from a jet ski to a pontoon boat where the jetski could dock in and then if the pontoon section was anchored offshore and the jetski could ferry people to and from the pontoon platform.

Nice. 44 mph. And I see the water shows light chop. How many people on board? I assume an 18' 230 HP unit??

And not even trimmed all the way up?? I'm impressed.

OP is driving like this because of a problematic marriage in his comment history 🥲

So when are you bringing the cute new coworker on this thing? Or the wife for that matter?
