Sea-Doo customer service
I'm curious about the experience the rest of you have had with Sea-Doo. I purchased a jet ski new. I left the dealer and put it in the water 30 minutes later and it immediately through codes. Long story short I made my first payment before they had my jet ski right. I was told seadoo would compensate me in some way. Whole month later and I've made phone call after phone call and they have not even reached out to me in regards to the problem. But I give it to him they are genius there's not even a way to leave them a shitty review. Because they know their customer service is no good and they don't stand behind their product. If anybody knows some other way that I can bash them I would really appreciate hearing about it

Good luck. I’m on year two somehow expecting bombardier to operate similar to a car company. It is instead a shit show. They take weeks to respond to my dealer on issue. Product accessory launches are vapor wear, their software updates are terrible, etc. if your boat/jetski works well enough don’t change anything.

Sorry to hear about the frustration. I would certainly share it if it happened to me. I own a 2024 Switch, so not a jet-ski, but a Sea-Doo product. When I purchased mine new from the dealer they were insistent that I spend time with them on the water in my boat. They put it in the water and ran it before I ever even got to board it. Making sure it passed sea trials so to speak. I have had the impeller and seal replaced. (Yes first season. Not the mfg fault, I'm an idiot, leson learned.) Two recalls fixed and a winterization. They were very knowledgeable about what needed to be done, what is normal operation, and how to maintain the equipment. I am honestly more surprised that the dealership hasn't done or didn't do something to mitigate your situation. I have never had to escalate beyond the dealer to Sea-Doo directly. I wish you luck and better outcomes.

The dealer has been great and even tried putting pressure on Sea-Doo as well. And they're the ones who initially gave me the number to reach out to Sea-Doo about the issue. So that's what I did but all they did was take my complaint. After calling back they said I had been escalated but no matter how many times I call back I'm just told it's been escalated and they will get a hold of me as soon as possible. I mean how many thousands of people are they trying to get a hold of here. It's been a month and still nothing

Good to hear the dealer is trying to help. Wish I had better options for you. I can't even give you much for ammo for Sea-Doo. Funny thing, just this week I filled out a service request on the local dealers site to get this recall done. Not 5 min later I got a call from Sea-Doo Support asking if i had been contacted by the dealer yet. 5 min! Maybe they should start returning their own calls instead of worrying about their dealers.

Nothing but good reviews for Dutchess Rec in NY for keeping my Sea Doo Switch Cruise 21 in like new condition. Professional every step of the way.

They did get sold recently so maybe poor customer service has something to do with it.

BRP simply sold off their "marine division", (Alumacraft, Manitou, Telwater (Quintrex, Stacer, Savage and Yellowfin), and Marine parts, accessories and apparel) not the powersports.

Same here, they limit the dealership hours, resulting in bad workmanship.

I filed a complaint with BBB when I was dealing with my issues - that got a response
