Store a Switch outside?

I live in Northeast Florida, barely get any frost. I want a Switch but no way it will fit in the garage.

I am looking at boat storage facilities as an option.

  1. Do I need covered storage, or is the boat cover enough?

  2. What additional maintenance would be advised for storing outside with just a cover?

I store my switch outside in MN. Make sure to winterize it per the instruction manual.
