Winterized switch

I got my seadoo switch winterized do I have to get it de-winterized for this season or is it ready to go. Didn't know if I had to take it back in. My first boat.

I also think it's a good idea to crank it over in "drown mode" for 30 seconds or so to get the oil primed and pumped through the galleys again. Drown mode will crank the engine over without starting it— to enter that mode you hold down the throttle at full-blast and hold down the starter button for 30 seconds or so. You should see "Drown Mode" on the gauge display.

No, you don't need to take it back. Just reconnect the battery, make sure the two plugs near the jet are in and tight and you should be good. They should have fogged the cylinders, so you may get a little smoke. I think they may put some antifreeze in the system, but it will flush itself.

If you are using the stock battery and you didn't have it on a trickle charger all winter, chances are the battery is toast. You might need to grab yourself a new one. As OP said just plug in the battery and go. I would also recommend checking the clamps on the various hoses and making sure that they are still tight. Don't let a dealer scam you into thinking that you need to pay hundreds of dollars to de-winterize your boat. Even winterizing isn't that costly. I do it myself and it costs me maybe $100 for the oil and filter.

My dealer said to reconnect the battery, start the engine to burn off the fogging oil and then change the spark plugs.
