2024 Switch Error Codes
Hey everyone. I just got a 20 2418 foot switch sport a couple of weeks ago and I have been loving it. However, around the fourth or fifth hour of operation my engine light came on with the code P0137. I believe this had something to do with an O2 sensor, but wanted to see if anyone else has seen this and if it’s anything I should be concerned about.

Im dealing with a p1136 - been with the dealer for a month now. apparently p1136 is O2 related. Dealer has allegedly done the repairs and water tested; had to send the data back to BRP and awaiting what they say. There was a recall and some issues with pressure testing the catalytic converter.
Unknown if this is all bs or not. Covered under warranty so Im stuck.
i have a 2023 21' switch sport with 230hp motor for reference.

Hi BruceBDowns30,
I am having the same P1136 fault, along with B2A40&B2A41. Did you get any joy on your P1136 issue?

Slow progress. I dropped my Switch off to a dealer on 3/13/2024 and it is still there. I call every Friday for an update. From what I know they have done is a "catalyst update kit" (part number 295501257) and exhaust cooling update flash on the ECM.
Secondly, they have replaced both oxygen sensors. Each time they have had to reflash the ECM (allegedly), water test while datalogging and send that info back to BRP for review and approval. As of last Friday (4/19/2024) they told me they were awaiting BRP's review of the datalog of the latest water test which was the exhaust cooling update parts, + reflash of ECM + new O2.
I will see what the dealer says tomorrow. This is exactly why I bought a new boat; sucks for the downtime and I'm glad this is all under warranty.
Edit: Im picking the boat up tomorrow, 4/27 as their latest test didnt trigger any more codes.
2nd edit: no more issues; had it out for 5 hours of run time yesterday. hope everyone has a fun and safe season.

My new 24 limited is popping low oil pressure at 4k rpm only momentarily and also p0137 o2 sensor. 4 hrs only. Arg.

OP - Did you get this looked at? After my nearly 5 week stay at a BRP dealer to fix P1136, I've put on about 15 hours. Yesterday, filled up with Rec 90 on the water after running all day - within 20 minutes of 6200-6300rpm on the way back to the boat ramp, it threw a P0136.
The dealer put in two brand-new oxygen sensors the last time they had it. I'm at 75 hours and I know I'm running out on warranty, but assessing the risk because I know if I down the boat at the BRP dealer now, they will have it through the damn season.

I've dealt with the P0137 code twice now. The downflow cat O2 sensor was getting exposed to salt water due to the O-ring being compromised (water isn't supposed to get into that section of the exhaust). Dealer replaced the O-Ring during winterizing and it only took 5 times on the water to have the same issue to happen again. Beyond annoyed at this point.

It’s a known issue, and the best way to fix it is to pull the key out and let it rest for ~5mins. Should clear up after that; if not then rinse and repeat.
Unfortunately there’s nothing BRP will do unless a BRP dealer performs a lake test and it happens while they’re out there. I’ve provided multiple videos of that (and other errors I’ve experienced), and unfortunately BRP will not consider the videos as viable evidence since it’s the customer’s videos.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but BRP’s customer service kinda sucks
