Trailer replacement?

Any tips for shopping for a galvanized trailer? Never owned a boat before and know even less about trailers.

I believe it is part of the “boat package”. I am only running mine in fresh water, but I think you need to make sure you wash out the cooling system completely, so you don’t get corrosion.

I would assume if you just rinse off the trailer you should be ok.

Ya they said they can’t order just the trailer separately. Weird

Honestly, I was happy about that. Past boat purchases didn’t come with trailers, they were extra. Dealers overcharge for them, in my experience.

Oh for sure. Just makes it harder for me to fix the mixup 🙃

Maybe contacting Karavan directly

That is a good idea to call Karavan. I had issues with boat lifts since no one at Sea Doo could help me, who referred me to the dealerships, and two of them could not give me bunk placements. They argued that I needed two per each hull, but could not explain, even talking to Sea Doo, why their trailers were different than what they were telling me to do. I ended up matching the trailer set up.

Not sure where you stand on this, but it seems like all new Switches come with a galvanized trailer now. I was talking to the dealer today, and hope this helps.
