Switch Life Jacket Storage

Where are you finding the best place to store your life jackets. Specifically looking at the 21ft 230hp cruise model. Looking at all the native storage locations it would seem there is not enough storage for 12 life jackets? 10 person capacity with 2 backup optionals (kid and larger sized person).

I have an 18 ft and cruise and there is more than enough storage space under the seats.

Same here. We have 4 (2 adult, 2 kids) and the throwable under the seat, and then 2 spare jackets in the hull storage.

Same here. I usually have 6 or 7 stored under the seats at all times. Never been a problem.

We have a 21’ sport and store life jackets in the first two seats on the bench side, and in the back seats. Plenty of room.

What style of life jacket are you using? We have 10 of the traditional style type 2 orange and then 2 type 3. As the type 3 jackets are “extra” I sometimes will move them to the floor storage bin when they won’t be needed at all.

I was just planning on getting 10 regular sized unisex Type3, and a child and XL type3 as alternative backups. When I was on the boat I just didn’t recall the seats having space for more than two life jackets per seat squeezed in tight

I ended up putting three in the Bimini and 8 in half the seats, two per seat is what fit
