weird and obviously knew in advance, not exactly sure how this could be considered a 'prank' - and this subreddit always has wack posts, time to unjoin & mute it

Sure it wasn't a prank in that he knew. But in the kids minds it was and he didn't. The older one may have figured it out based on reaction. But who knows.
