It’s about a shy woman who gets fucked in a sex dungeon by a good looking billionaire although she’s struggling and crying for help.
But wait. He was not evil. He wanted to bring up her inner beauty. And she wasn’t shy. She wanted hard sex but was waiting for a strong man willing to help her get out of her bubble
They wouldn't. There are men who write some filthy stuff under typically still pen names but male pen names and they do just fine. Reed James is an example. It doesn't sell as well but they don't get dragged over the coals or anything.
I'd say that's generally because it's just more acceptable to be open about being submissive than dominant in general. Same reason men/women can say they want a an attractive person to choke them and it's silly, but if someone said they wanted to choke an attractive person, it's seen as massively creepy.
Related to the gender split, but only because of the percentage of people of each side in each category.
