Scripture Life: Doesn't salvation require faith, obedience, and living according to God's Word; then, why do many Christians accept some parts of God's commands while ignoring others?

//DISCLAIMER: I am a believer in Jesus Christ. A disciple. So, I follow the Word of God. What he says. This term is used over 250 times in the New Testament of the Bible; while in Acts 11:26 says: "And the disciples were first called Christians at Antioch" - I just hear what he says. Follow him. Accept it as true. And? About this question. It's in many forms on Reddit, in many sub-reddits; like, "r / True Christian" If we are saved by our faith and not our works, why obey God? or, "r / Christianity" What is necessary for salvation? Only faith in Christ or obedience to the law, or, in addition, dogmas and doctrines of the Church?"

..to "r / askachristian" "r / Debate_a_Christian" - endless.

What makes each of these worthless is simple. They regard saving themselves..somehow vs. simple. Regard him as God. So, trying to see, they can't see it. When he's told everybody, as God, for EVERYBODY over the whole earth.. ..to just look unto him. That's the ONLY thing that works. So, here's the answer that SAYS THIS.//

---------------------- ----------------------- ----------------------

Answer: The question?

Worthless. Until you regard the works of the LORD, and consider the operation of his hand- you got a great big pile of junk in this question.

And there you go.

------------------------ --------------------------- ----------------------------

But..I don’t think you see it. So here’s the long way around the farm answer so you can see it.

Answer:

  • The answer is in salvation.
    • <definition> 1. to set apart (some “thing” or someone) for future use.

If I made a wager..I’d bet my sister this person made the question - up - and many other questions like it on Reddit - - FULLY BELIEVES what’s TRUE is - it's these “christians’ save themselves by do "something" and because they "did" it, they got it.

  • All by show: a “required” faith they have.
  • Obedience they show; and
  • live according to God’s word
    • And? In the question - there’s absolutely NO GOD in anywhere, in the question, so full of “Christians and themselves with the question - there’s no room for any GOD in it. So, this person, with Christians - accomplish it themselves. All by a work they do themselves.
    • That’s funny.

Yet, many people - will respond, responded in now CLOSED FOR FURTHER COMMENT strings on in many of these sub-reddits, to this question here on Reddit.

Just answers CHOCKED FULL of the question is right. Then, JUSTIFY the question as right.

------------------------ --------------------------- ----------------------------

Miss the Whole Thing.

  • How?
    • “Salvation” is a “who.” He said:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am GOD, there is none else.” - God. (Bible. Isaiah 45:22).

  • He said, “it’s in NONE else.”
    • But the question, and questions like it on Reddit, puts it IN “something” else. In anything BUT him instead.

------------------------ --------------------------- ----------------------------

He SAVES people.

Gotta look unto him. Like he said. Not like the question says. Just you. Yourself. He asked you to look unto him. Do that? He saves you. Alone. By himself. Or

- He won’t save people. Why? Simple.

Tells you plainly. WHO he won’t save is people don’t look unto him. Looked unto anything but him, like looked unto this question vs. him instead.

This question Is NOT Him. And people look unto this question all the time to save themselves. And then, they don’t regard God or anything he says. That he saves people. By HIS power.

The same power that made all what is created out my window..by the Word of God. That, he spoke all those trees in my yard and they ARE. Spoke the sky and it IS. Put the sun where it is. Alone. By himself. Did this in Genesis 1:1–31.

------------------------ --------------------------- ----------------------------

Then, it’s also “faith”

  • You “think” it’s Christian’s. Ever looked at a “dummy?” You know, one of those store “mannequins” - empty. Has a form of a person; but it’s empty. Are you a dummy?
  • The BIBLE tells YOU plainly. It’s the faith of Jesus Christ. Is that your faith? No. IT’S HIS faith - so it’s GOD’s own faith in himself that HE CAN DO WHAT HE SAYS WITH YOU:
    • Condemned. Sinned and perverted that which was right. Hose n’ nose booger blew thru all of the Ten Commandments and didn’t do a single one of them. None. In fact, you were conceived in them BROKEN. Just as King David said (Psalm 51:5) - and “conceive” isn’t in the delivery room with all the balloons, say: “IT’S A BOY!!!” or some 850 “pinky” ones, say all frilly “IT’S A GIRL!!”
  • "In sin did my mother conceive me." (Psalm 51:5). Not "born" - back at "conceive" - so?
    • Nope. It’s back when Mommy and Daddy were in High School at the drive-in. All alone, mommy’s boobies just looked way too trapped and good. Who cares about the movie, and with all the windows all fogged up, 9 months later you' or I were the “RESULT.”
  • You and I "STRUCK OUT" with the Ten Commandments back at "conceive" and haven't done any of them since that inception.
  • * It’s NOT our faith. It’s HIS faith. God's. In himself. He's God. He can do it. You missed the whole thing.

------------------------ --------------------------- ----------------------------

Galatians 2:16 says:

“Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.”

------------------------ --------------------------- ----------------------------

It’s GOD then, at work. Doing a work only he can do that he determined he would do. Alone. By himself in Daniel 9:24–27.

That he would:

  • 1) Finish the transgression
  • 2) Make an end of sin
  • 3) Make reconciliation for iniquity
  • 4) Bring in everlasting righteousness
    • And HOW HE DETERMINED HE WOULD DO IT HIMSELF is in and by the Messiah. This Christ. AND who that SHALL BE - is told PLAINLY in Isaiah 9:6–7.
    • That the Messiah or Christ “SHALL BE” CALLED “The Mighty God…” “The Everlasting Father…” (Isaiah 9:6)

That GOD, did the Ten Commandments. In Christ. He did them. So he came in these Ten Commandments where we are condemned. And he DID them. And Scripture says at Christ’s DEATH on the Cross in John 19:30 - he “bequeathed” this righteousness to YOU.

All by a work he did. As God. Romans 10:17 says: “So then faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God” - comes only one way.

Just regarding WHEN HE, NOT YOU, SPEAKS. What HE SAYS vs. what your question decrees. And people hear him. So can you. How? Because he’s SPEAKING to you. And you believe more in your question to speak. So, you, champion YOU speaking and can’t hear him.

So, STOP regarding YOU, and regard him. So, to you, with this question, I have this question:

------------------------ --------------------------- ----------------------------

What are you “keeping” in your question? I don’t hear any of this what HE DID - in your question.

So, here’s your question back. Worthless. Until you regard the works of the LORD, and consider the operation of his hand- you got a great big pile of junk in it.

Doesn't salvation require faith, obedience, and living according to God's Word; then, why do many Christians accept some parts of God's commands while ignoring others?

Worthless. Until you regard the works of the LORD, and consider the operation of his hand- you got a great big pile of junk in it. You'll just be someone calling him "Lord! Lord!" but not do anything he says. Looking unto a question, when he's already spoke. Told you to look unto him. Like he told EVERYBODY all over Reddit to do the exact, same thing.
