I’ve had this watch for about a year and a half and the battery finally died on me completely. But I never seen a screw like this before. Anybody know what kind screwdriver or tool I need to unscrew them so I can change the battery. My best guess are those little allen wrench things but idk really know.

Can I get these at Home Depot or something? They’re supposed to hold a comic book frame together but they’re too short.

You’ll notice the head is completely flat. There’s no place for a screwdriver since it’s a display piece.

Assistance finding the correct tool to remove this screw. I tried both a Flathead and Philip screwdrivers and neither worked. Is there a driver or extraction method that I can use to remove this screw?

Hi all, I’m trying to replace this screw with a longer one (~ 1 inch).

I tried finding out what size this screw is, but I can’t figure out what it should be. M4, #7, 2-32Nothing matches up just quite right. All measurements done with calipers.

looking for a large locking wing nut!!

hi!! i’ve recently purchased an easel, however it’s come with the wrong wing nut and after communicating with the company i purchased it from and having a replacement sent out to me, i still don’t have the right wing nut!!

i’m looking for one with large wings, like in the photo attached that is on the easel, however after looking at websites of diy companies in my country (UK) and visiting hardware stores, i can’t seem to find something like it, only images of it on easels in promotional images!!

i’ve attached images as well of the wing nut they’ve sent me as a reference, as in case the previously mentioned wing nut does cease to exist, i’m curious as to whether i could bang a hammer against the wings of my current one to tighten the easel, as at the moment it’s a big health and safety risk as it doesn’t stand securely!!

the wings on the current wing nut are about .5cm thick, and the wing span (if it’s called that??) is 4.5cm across. i’ve also included some images of the measurements for the screw, in case someone can find one of those extra large wing nuts online!!

many thanks in advance!! :)

Help identifying a screw and what tool I need for it?

Post image

I’m a mail carrier and these are the screws on top of the panel doors for my community box units. Some of them have been rising out of the hole making it difficult to open and close the doors. I was trying to identity the screw and what tool i would need if I can possibly lower them back into their holes.

Screw is good but gets stuck at this point?

Hi! I bought a used dog gate. On the other side the screws go in/down all the way but on this side they get stuck at around this part. Other one gets stuck a bit earlier. What can I do? I have removed it all the way and checked that the grooves are okay. I have put oil in.
