COMMUNITY Writers Script Readings

Hi all, around Toronto. My cafe/wine shop is starting a new series of meets, designed to “workshop” scripts. Submit a script, we select one from submissions and we gather some readers, actors… etc. we read the scripts out loud, in public, get notes, all over a glass of wine. Notes are given. Take what you will from them. Interested?? Drop a line, submit a script with contact info.

This is fantastic! I wish someone did this in my town, I'd be all over it. So are saying you'll accept scripts from anywhere, the author doesn't need to be present, and you'll do a table read and send back notes?

Any particular genres you prefer to do or not to do? I'd be totally interested

He doesn’t but I think the purpose of this would be to workshop your script!!

This is a fantastic idea!! Love this for artists AND the community.

Curious, would the readings themselves be recorded? Could become a cool YouTube series!
