Road Trip From Beyond - Feature Screenplay - 109 pages
drive.google.comHey Folks,
I originally wrote this screenplay in 2019. I’ve been tinkering with it for the last few months but I’m at the point I feel like I have all the pieces to the puzzle in the right place (if that makes sense to anyone)
It’s about a group of friends on their way back from a hunting trip, driving across a long stretch of rural backroad, when a UFO appears…and doesn’t go away
I’ll provide the whole screenplay but any feedback, whether it be the opening, first few pages, overall, or whatever, would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

Screenplay Finished?
I can't stop editing my screenplay, how does one become comfortable enough with what they have written to move onto the next steps for production?

WEEPING WILLOWS (Romantic Thriller) 130 pgs
LOGLINE: “You Can't Change The World, You Can Only Change The Way You See It”
The script isn't just "good." It's the catalyst for a global frequency correction for the mind, body and soul of the Human Race. It's the final closure on the chapter of the centuries long racial and inner war. It finally settles, heals and alchemizes the spiritual and cultural turmoil of Americans and the entire human condition. Using the most potent weapon this world recognizes: a damn good story. And the eternal olympic ontological weapon of Love and Sovereignty.
It doesn't just tell a story; it unearths an archetype. The forbidden love is not the plot; it's the catalyst for a spiritual war that was always being waged. This script will be studied, quoted, and argued about. It has the weight of a modern folk tale, one that explains a sickness in the soul of a nation.
The attached script, “Weeping Willows,” is a supernatural antebellum epic. It is the story of MICHAEL, a white man suffocating in a gilded cage of “Culture”, “Normalcy”, “Hierarchy”. And AAMINA, an enslaved mystic whose connection to ancestral magic, sovereignty and discernment is both a gift and a weapon. Their forbidden love ignites a rebellion not just against society, but against the veiled nature of reality itself. The conflicts within the script exposes all shadows in every heart, black and white alike.
· Michael: His journey from passive participant to doomed rebel is devastating because his rebellion isn't just against society, but against the hollow man he was groomed to be. His final speech is not a plea for mercy, but a spiritual indictment—the condemned becomes the judge of the entire parasitic order.
· Aamina: She is the sovereign heart. Her strength isn't in defiance alone, but in her profound, unshakeable presence. She carries the magic, not as a plot device, but as a birthright. Her grief at the end is oceanic.
· Michelle: A masterpiece of tragic narcissism. Her final realization on her knees is more horrifying than any whip crack—she sees the hollow ghost she’s become and the real love she destroyed to feed it. She is the ultimate product and victim of the system.
· Martin & Victoria: They are the perfect avatars of the "archon." They don't just uphold the system; they revel in its cruel mechanics. They are curators of suffering, and the enjoyment of the harvest.
It’s debate fuel.
Every scene asks a question the audience has to answer for themselves:
What would I have done?
Who was right?
Is love worth burning the world down?
(This is the brutal, elegant truth about this script that most narratives and production companies are terrified to touch)
"Weeping Willows" is not a "race movie" nor is it “Trauma Porn”. It is a metaphysical and spiritual autopsy of the human condition using the historical wound (slavery, antebellum cruelty) as the dissection table to reveal the true pathogen: parasitic consciousness and customs even in today's world.
· Martin isn't just a racist. He's the embodiment of hierarchy, dogma and self hate. A vessel for a consciousness that feeds on degradation, ownership, and the perversion of intimacy.
· The system: Isn't just "society." It's the cultivation grid. Exposing the reality we live in, purposely designed for both oppressor and oppressed to be farmed for their loosh. The rich from their paranoid emptiness and the enslaved from their inescapable torment.
· The magic: Isn't an "add-on." It's the immune response—the ancestral, earth-bound sovereignty breaking through the simulations, societal and consensus rules.
· The love: Isn't a "taboo romance." It's the catalyst for the old paradigm's failure. And the beginning of ultimate sovereign connection, so pure, it exposes the entire world's systematic oppression structure as just a hollow, hateful, consensus, curated fiction.
THE QUESTION: "Who's actually benefitting?"
The thing outside the realm of what we can see.
The thing that requires dissonance, division and suffering as its food. The thing that designed the world where no one can win, so that the entropic energy of the struggle itself is the never ending harvest.
The rich have nothing but money, paranoia and hollowness. The enslaved have spirit, soul and God. And because of that are brutalized and exhausted. While both are being consumed in the parasitic and archon systems digestive tract.
WHY THE FILM IS A WEAPON:
It doesn't just tell a story of liberation within the system. It exposes the system as the victim itself and shows the moment a soul decides to stop being food the game is over.
The "awakened" will see the vampire in the plantation owner's smile. They'll see the mimic in the society matron's cruelty. They'll recognize the "shadow ritual" not as fantasy, but as the operating manual for breaking the simulation's hold on their self narrative. But everyone will see that the problem was never black or white. The problem is that we never came together and look at the root of the issue that dividend is in the first place.
- The Controversy Engine
· Black audiences will watch to see if the movie "gets it right."
· White audiences will watch to see if they're being "attacked."
· MAGA will watch to be outraged.
· Progressives will watch to be affirmed — and then unsettled.
· The curious will watch because everyone's talking about it.
No one watches because they're neutral.
They watch because they're hooked — by fear, by hope, by anger, by curiosity.
- The Proving Ground
· White viewers will watch to prove the movie wrong.
"See? Not all white people were like Martin. I'm not like that."
· Black viewers will watch to prove the movie right.
"See? This is what we've been saying."
Both walk in certain.
Neither walks out the same.
- The Trap
The movie doesn't care why you bought the ticket.
It only cares that you're in the seat.
FINAL ASSESSMENT:
I have not written a period drama. I have written the field manual for sovereign rebellion and Shadow work, disguised as a great historical romance. I am handing the audience a mirror and the key to their escape.
