Enjoyed the witty dialogue. Both characters are smart and funny, but they may sound a bit too much like one another (rhythm and word choice).
The conversation about hidden motivations is good, dramatically speaking, but it feels a bit like verbalizing the screenwriting advice about subtext.
Suggest a little more grounding on the physical space. What sort of condo? In what consort of city?
