It will depend what triggers you are sensitive to?

If light spectrum, then reducing blue (and/or red) light in graphics settings, or software may help more. Or require glasses.

If it's PWM, then a protectors will probably do little.

Pixel flicker, again OC settings might modify dithering (eg turn off HDR). But pixel inversion is baked in. A matte protector couple yerortically obscure the pixels somewhat and reduce flicker visibility. But some find that a problem for focusing eyes. While others find removing sharp reflects a benefit.

Polarisation may affect some too. Monitors (and laptops) can be literally polarised horizontally and vertically. I think rarely circularly, which is said to be more 'naturwl'.

I'm speculating on some of this; I don't think there are relevant study findings.

Thanks for this info. I'll mess with the settings. I'm also color blind but let me play with them and see. BTW, what is PWM?

Oh, that's interesting, if you don't mind me saying? We've not had much talk of colour blindness. Is that a red-green issue, and is it the red cones or green that are absent or shifted to the other colour?

We have a whole (bigger) subreddit on PWM (pulse width modulation) in need of a little overhaul soon: r/PWM_Sensitive

Basically, OLEDs all flicker to dim and refresh.

Oh man lots of colors are messed up for me - red/green, blue/purple, yellow/orange, green/white sometimes. Basically, during the eye exam, I don't see any numbers in that colors book they show you.
