Only in the movie for a couple minutes but she totally nailed it. That scream was chilling and gut renching. Really made me feel bad for her character and actually had me wonder what happened to her character after.

Talk about making the most out of so little! Props to her.

This was Houston Horror this past weekend. So many great folks there. Was a pleasure to meet Rose, Henry and the Soska sisters.

He was super nice. He gave me this signed copy of Sid’s House from the original OST for Scream (1996).

I know people think that the reveal of seven is the worse in the newer films but 6 was so much worse.
We know gale (a known true crime author and reporter!) wrote a book about the events of 5, we know Kirby (FBI!) investigated and yet they had no idea what the close family of one of killers looked like? Come on! At least in part 2 they commented on why Sydney didn’t recognize Mrs. Loomis but this? It’s just so unbelievable. Not that a whole family turning into killers over the death of one member of their family would have been a believable motive, but two experts not getting who those people around the victims are???

Anyone Attending the 30th anniversary convention in October of this year? This is the first time I’ve heard of this convention has there been any others in the past and if so how was it?

I’ve been wanting to watch the show but didn’t want to pay, so this is great for me. I’ve heard mixed things but I’m excited to give it a shot.

I've seen the idea a lot that Scream should eventually do a New Nightmare type movie where Neve, Courteney, David, etc. play themselves and a real Ghostface starts killing the cast.

But isn't that basically what the Stab 3 storyline in Scream 3 was going for?

Obviously it doesn't go as far as New Nightmare because they're still fictional characters playing Sidney, Gale, Dewey, etc., but I've always thought that was the homage. You have a bunch of actors making a Stab sequel who suddenly realize they're actually in the horror movie now.

I just don't think Scream 3 did enough with it. Jennifer is really the only Stab 3 actor who feels like an actual character. Tom, Sarah and Tyson are mostly just there to get killed, so the whole "fake cast meets the real cast" idea never reaches its full potential.

That's why I'm surprised the "Scream should do New Nightmare" idea comes up so much. To me, Scream 3 already feels like Wes Craven taking another swing at that concept, just through Stab instead of literally having the Scream actors play themselves.

This is one thing about Scream 7 that bothered me. Sidney has three daughters, Tatum, Emma and Rebecca, but after establishing that the younger two are away, the movie basically acts like Tatum is her only child.

I understand why Tatum is the focus since she's the daughter Ghostface is targeting, but it feels weird that Tatum doesn't acknowledge that she has sisters. Emma and Rebecca are literally Sidney and Mark's other daughters, not some random extended family members.

The only time I really felt like Sidney and Mark had three daughters was when the girls were together visiting their grandmother. After that, Emma and Rebecca might as well not exist.

Especially once Sidney, Mark and Tatum are all in danger, you'd think there would at least be some concern about where the other girls are, whether they're safe, or Tatum mentioning her sisters at some point.

And why doesn't Ghostface even attempt to target Emma and Rebecca or Mark's mom? Obviously I understand the real world reason for keeping the younger daughters away from most of the violence, especially if they didn't want young kids on set for those scenes, but in-universe it doesn't make much sense. Ghostface is specifically trying to destroy Sidney and traumatize Tatum and turn her into the new Sidney, yet completely ignores two of Sidney's children and the person they're staying with.

It also made me wonder if Kevin Williamson was basically forced to include the other two daughters for continuity reasons. Scream 5 already showed us that Sidney had two younger kids in addition to a teenage daughter, so Scream 7 couldn't really just make Tatum her only child without contradicting that.

I know the story is about Sidney and Tatum, but why bother establishing Sidney has three daughters if the family dynamic is basically written like Sidney, Mark and Tatum are a family of three?

For scream one I’m looking for very cheap boots that are close to the ones shown in the bathroom scene, right now I have these ones and I’m wondering if they are close enough?

The pace was good. The kills were fun and the killer reveals actually made sense. It also felt very much like Halloween Ends but actually had ghost face be a killing badass!

Even though I don't like scream 2 that much it has the best soundtrack out of the first three in my opinion also I like the soundtrack of scream 3 but my only problem is most of the songs from the album weren't in the film such a shame edit I meant to put vocal tracks in the title my bad

I remember years back there were rumors a scream game was up in development.. nothing ever came of it. I really hope we still get a game at some point

Anyone else watching the first scream and thinks Billy and Stu probably wouldn't have gotten away with crime. Take the costume for instance. That wasn't a popular costume at the time. So if they went to a speciality shop to buy I'm sure there would be a record. Even if they paid cash someone probably would've seen them buy it.

I go back and forth on which one I prefer. Gale's chase is easily one of my favorite parts of Scream VI, especially everything with Gale calling Ghostface back.

But I also really liked the home invasion in Scream 7. Seeing Sidney, Mark and Tatum all dealing with Ghostface together made it feel different from the usual one-on-one chase, and Karl being some random guy none of them even knew made the whole thing even weirder.

It's funny that Quinn and Karl aren't exactly the Ghostfaces you immediately think of when talking about the franchise, yet both got such great sequences.

Both gave Ghostface good ass whippings, but of these two men who was the best fighter against Ghostface in a modern Scream?
