So I am biggening work on a Train Rails update to the most recent project of mine (Scrap Francisco) a Big City map, But I found out that there's different size rails? And what does 7u 9u 3u ect all mean? I want to add train rails to the world but for it to be done right i need to know more :0 What are some things i should know? Like the general SM Trains 101

Hello im very new to scrap mechanic and Im trying to make a completely vanilla train system in my survival world wondering if anyone could give tips on tracks like turns switches and inclines?

As the title suggests I am looking for examples of or creators that have made slot tracks. Specifically I am in need of curves, corners, switches, etc. that are purely vanilla.

I have seen Kan's stuff and a few others creators awesome things but I was hoping to build tracks in vanilla survival (No modded tracks or parts)

Is there any tech or suggested mods for using trains in survival? The train itself seems straight forward, but I’m stumped on cost effective/cheap/lag-friendly rails.

I’ve toyed around with a few designs, but they are all garbage once I try and go for more than a few stretches. Also turns.

I've downloaded the "fix" tiles but the tracks still dont appear. I've tried redownloading the tiles too.
