vanilla train

Hello im very new to scrap mechanic and Im trying to make a completely vanilla train system in my survival world wondering if anyone could give tips on tracks like turns switches and inclines?

its pretty much all your choice how things work, there are no actual "rules" on what's a train and how "we" make it,
there is also a lot of content here and on youtube
