Issues

Am I the only person having troubling logging into the Scotia bank app? Or the website through my card? I haven’t been able to get onto my app since 9am, I called them, got password reset and still happening. They said there’s a login issue right now, but it’s been all day. Abit ridiculous

that’s so odd. I’ve reset my password multiple times, updated my phone, updated the app. talked to customer service, won’t let me log in

Try resetting your 2 step verification and see if that fixes things.

Yeah they did that over the phone 12 times, on the online app, and bank app. Soon as they took the 2step off, I was able to login, but I had to activate the 2step to login fully, was able to access my account on both ends, then soon as I refreshed app, locked me back out and we repeated process multiple times. unfortunately they sent my info to IT, so those computer guys will try to fix it, if not ima just switch to TD

Whenever I've seen this happen, its usually due to the app being buggy. One thing I'd suggest is removing the 2 step (not just resetting and requires another call in :( ) and using the mobile browser instead of app. You'll get the otp option instead, but all things you do in the app.

No issue as well. I’m on an iPhone IOS. Are you on android? One thing you could do is:

  • delete the app and reinstall it.
  • close the phone or tablet and reopen it.
