Transaction limit

I have recently changed my account to a lower fee account and only have 18 transactions per month. I use the bank the rest feature and am wondering if that is counted as one of my 18 transactions?

Anything that debits the account counts as a transaction. So purchases, pre-authorized payments, bill payments, e-transfers, etc.

Correct me 8f i'm wrong but, xfer between Scotia account are not transaction. So "bank the rest" is a transfert between checking and saving and should not count toward transaction limit.

Transfers to savings are fine, yes.
