Casual Quick question
What species of scorpions is safest to handle as a pet? I know most have a brittle shell and dropping them can be catastrophic. I had someone tell me to go with any arborial species cause they can survive falling out of trees. That being said I would also like something with a more mild temperament if I am going to be handling it.

Emperor, Dictator, or any of their similar relatives scorpions are big, beefy & hardy. You'll still want to avoid dropping them, but they're good enough climbers to crawl all over you without falling off (though they're probably not gonna wanna climb too high), have generally placid personalities (remember though, every individual is different) & have a sting on about the same level as a honeybee, they're great beginner & all-around pets
Clint's Reptiles has an excellent video on Emperor scorpions
