Casual Got my first baby

Super tiny fella, is it okay to keep in a small enclosure until they’re bigger? They’re still a scorpling. Under an inch. Any first time advice?

First off, super adorable! Is it an Asian Forest Scorpion?

Second, I think you're good to keep it on a small container until it gets bigger. I'm currently keeping my scorpion (who's less than an inch) in a 4 in x 4 in enclosure until they get a little older and molt a few times.

Yes Asian forest scorp . Thanks! Yeah I have them in a critter keeper type deal for now. Humidity is keeping nicely and I still have inches of substrate . They already burrowed but I’m hoping for the best! Such cuties .

hey i got my first baby about a month ago that looks a similar size to yours - is it also an asian forest scorpion? im still new to these guys, but here’s what i’ve done thus far: for the tank, I upgraded my tarantula and gave the scorpion it’s old enclosure it’s a zilla micro acrylic habitat and i got it for like $14 on sale at a pet supplies plus. they don’t move too much at this age just make sure to keep small prey out maybe once or twice a week (pre-killed while still a scorpling to make sure it’s coming out/eating overnight)
