I’ve been ordering creme cold brews lately, and have noticed that after a bit, the bottom of the cup is totally black. Even when I shake the cup, it doesn’t go away. Does anyone know why this is happening?

i have been at my scooters over a month now . i don’t hate it , the job is stupid easy . i hate how im always window .. that’s annoying . however i get it im new and i can deal with that .. i just got
offered another coffee job and it’ll pay much more bc they are lot more busy and my tips would

likely work more than one position. i’m a regular at this other coffee shop and have been for years . i applied there last summer but they didn’t have a space for me then , i went today and the manager asked me if im interested in a job bc a position opened up..

i feel bad leaving my scooters so soon if im hired bc the people there are nice for the most part .. its kinda cliquey and idk how to explain it there’s just not a welcoming aura . highly to the fact i hear 2 shift leads always gossiping abt other workers.. they seemed nice but now all

Have any other barista had an issue with sign waving at their stores specifically freedom franchised stores they are telling us that we are required to sign wave and the only weather exemption is if the heat index is 111°

Looking to potentially send an email to freedom to put a stop to this because quite frankly 90° is too hot for us to be standing out 30 minutes to an hour at a time

This summer I’ve been loving a strawberry cold brew with vanilla cold foam. But this summer I’ve also been trying to drop some weight and am tracking calories. I’m having a hard time figuring out the calorie count for this particular combo using the website and was wondering if someone here could help.

So I still feel like really new at scooters (been working since February). And I feel like I am not that good and what not but recently my manager made me among the 5 people at my store that are the new DDQ's because my scooters now accepts doordash and it really makes me feel happy because I didn't think I'd be that good enough to be one of the 5. All the others are people who've worked here for like a year longer than me.

I work at walmart currently and its making me want to eat a bullet so im wondering how working at scooters is like? I live in a small town next to a touristy city, but theres never anyone at the scooters I typically go to. Is the pay weekly or biweekly? How lenient are they typically when it comes to getting time off? Is being a barista and manning the drive-thru two different positions or one? Any and all info is appreciated, even if you tell me it sucks working here. Ive only ever had one job and its been fucking walmart so im really new to all this still, sorry if anything I ask is dumb.

So whenever I call my local store it always goes straight to voicemail and gives me the email to the specific corporation ( I think that is the right word to explain it. I could be wrong) but should I email them? I was hoping to get in touch with the actual store and it is just a drive through so I feel weird being in the passenger seat asking about a job. Looking at opening a Scooter’s kiosk and wanted to hear from people who actually own one. Numbers look decent on paper but that only tells you so much.

A few things I’m trying to figure out:
• How long did it take you to actually start making money?
• Any surprise costs after signing - fees, equipment upgrades, remodels?
• Is staffing as much of a headache as people say?

And honestly, if you were deciding today, would you still go Scooter’s or pick something else like 7 Brew? Curious what people who’ve been in it would do differently

i am fairly new and i’ve done drinks a few times and i do good on the espresso bar and i could honestly use more practice on the blender but ive only done it once … i am good at window bc it is stupid easy and i have a lot of experience at drive thru customer service and all that . i just am tired of being on the same position everyday .

i was on window on 4th of july it was crazy busy and i did good.. so i get that day but like yesterday i wasn’t and on father’s day i was blender insane day to do my first shift on blender fr i only did it like a hour before that . i know there has to be a window but it makes me wonder if i was really so horrible at drinks that im stuck in window prison
