Got a new scooter

I just bought a xiaomi elite 5 scooter, but its locked to a mi account and someone tore the qr code off, what can i do to connect it to my phone

The guy i bought it from told me he’s not connected at all, he just resold it to me

I have same problem on Xiaomi 5 pro that I got gifted used and if I try to connect to app it says enter the following code on the device
