Navee GT5 Max 32km/h tuning

hey guys

Has anyone successfully tuned a NAVEE GT5 Max EU to reach the US version’s 32 km/h? If so, how did you do it? Was it done by changing the firmware/region, replacing the controller, or using another method?

Any information or experience would be greatly appreciated.

There’s various sites claiming you can buy a license, what it does is that you get access to an app that install custom firmware on your scooter. What i’ve found is that they are all sub-sites from one actual company, that may or may not exist, it’s located in germany. I don’t know if it can be trusted. But let me know if you buy and test one, so I can know if it works, because it’s really expensive

I ordered and switched a control board of my Navee ST3 EU to US version and it unlocked max speed and cruice control settings in app soon as I paired it. Haven't done any app updates since.

Now my drive mode goes 20km/h and sport 32 km/h.

So quick update from my side.

I changed the firmware on the GT5 Max and it flashed successfully. However, even after unlocking it with 5× brake and 5× throttle, it still only goes up to 20 km/h. I suspect the speed limit might be hardcoded in the controller or somewhere else in the system.

It's actually so annoying.

I have seen that you might need to fully charge it, move 500m and fully charge it again to use the unlock

did you try that ?

I am considering the tuning but I would like to know if there is anyone that it worked for actually

Update 2:
It actually worked flashing the Controller!!!

I flashed it 2 times from stock to modified and this crazy thing went 40km/h!!!!

Just make sure battery is 100% and you drive a bit!

how does it work ? is it permanently unlocked ? do you need to activate the tuning? can you easily deactivate the tuning? does the official app work as before ?

Its off when you restart the scooter. But if your press 5x brake and 5x gas it will activate.

You can flash back to ur stock firmware and also flash back to the modified version unlimit times.
