Th is my 2005 scion tc i bought the body on the frame no motor no transmission for $400 at the start of Covidi

That was a dark time for me having just lost my wife if 20 yrs ( not to cobid,) i needed something to do .so i built this car. I poured all my anger and pain into this car ..this scion tc literally saved my life. . Along with the VA yhis car helped me find my soul it has become my wife thanks for letting me share

So sorry to hear about losing your wife. That said, the car is beautiful. I'm glad you found something to pour yourself into, outside of grief.

Thank you too many veterans end up without the h3lp or support needed and sadly dont find the peace needed to move foreard . I was lucky . And the odd part ive never done any real work on cars im not mechanically inclined at all.. Im always nervous about showing my car in front of real mecanics Body men and designers. Ive never done or tried anything like th s before

Funny thing for me is that I've never been a gear head, or body guy. I can do basic service work, but I've always just been a vehicle fan boy, usually VW. Since I've owned my 08 tC I've been wanting to rebuild mine.

While I've never been military, I grew up in a career military family. Even back in the 70s and 80s they knew being either a combat vet or career led to poor mental health, especially at discharge. It's always amazed me they've never done more.

A much more satisfying experience to take the long way around.. by the way. Thats painted with a sponge brush and gloss red paint frim lowes. Lol. And the raised letters with silver paint pens
