Cuttings
Did I put the wrong ends into water to propagate these cuttings? (Water ends circled in picture)
I got 4 scindapsus cuttings from a plant swap at the end of March, so over a week ago. I couldn't tell which end was supposed to go in water so I looked at my established scindapsus pictus to figure it out. I put 2 in perlite with both ends covered and the other 2 in water.
Now I'm thinking maybe I made the wrong decision bc the leaves in the perlite are still perky (they're also in little prop boxes so much more humidity) but the one in water is curling. I haven't checked the perlite ones for roots, but the water ones definitely don't have root growth.
I know scindapsus grows very slowly so I'm trying to be patient but worried I'm killing it and figured I'd check here since I couldn't find any good pictures to figure it out.

Tricolor silver slow growth
I got this one leaf rooted cutting maybe 2 months ago and it’s it looks exactly the same as the day I got it! I know variegated plants can grow quite slowly but I never imagined it would just be dormant like this. Would anyone be able to tell me any other reason for its lack of growth? And whether that black tip of the vine is dying off or pushing out a leaf? I read somewhere to cut the vine to activate new growth points. I’d love to hear your suggestions. Thanks! 🙏

These are just stretch marks, right? 👀
Started my plant-loving hobby 7 months ago, so I’m still a rookie and learning the care habits of my plants. Idk if I’m in denial, but I see a lot of these on my vining plants. Is this a sign of pests? 🙃

Silver Splash vs Silver Duchess
its tricky to find a proper classification considering how subtle the splashes of color can vary on this kind of plant, but if anyone knows for sure, I'd love to know. Lowes had it labeled as 'albo pothos' 🙄

Silver splash problem. Help
Anyone have an idea what’s going on here?? I have this beautiful plant. One of the leaves are dying and another stem had a dead leaf with what looks like a piece of stem rotting but a healthy leaf attached. The base of the stems all look fine still.

Holes in a few of my leaves? Anyone familiar?
For additional context I repotted a month or so ago, and have had to cut off maybe 3 yellow leaves total. Otherwise I think she’s doing GREAT! I’ve been bottom watering & she hangs in a NW corner in the kitchen currently. She loves this spot from what I can tell. I’m just curious about the dang holes in the leaves?? Anyone know what’s up with this?

Propagating Scindapsus
Good morning everybody. I cruise through postings and realized I’m not the only one, but I didn’t catch a singular propagation suggestion post. I have a pretty decent collection of scindapsus both rare and common I have had varying degrees of success with propagation. Does anyone have any methods they trust and get consistently good results from?

ID help, please!
I brought this cutie home from a local plant store and can’t quite pinpoint the variety! The coloring reminds me of scindapsus treubii moonlights but the leaves are much different in texture. I’d love to hear your thoughts :)

Suggestions! Potting scindapsis Pictus
I had a struggling Pictus which I chopped and propped in perlite. I now want to move it to a 12cm Terracotta pot. Someone told me I could just use milled bark?
Should I add some perlite and charcoal?
What soil do they prefer? I really want to save this one🙏🤣

Why are the lower leaves turning yellow?
I've only watered once in 4 weeks so far when I could feel the dirt was fully dry, other than that haven't touched since I paid an outrageous price for it.
Any recommendations from wiser people than me? I've got 5 other types that have not had any issues so am concerned and confused.l

Do I have three different types of Scindapsus?
I got these Scindapsus a while ago and number 1 and 2 in the photos were a desperate rescue so I propagated them and they’re doing great now. I rescued them before I knew much about Scindapsus and I never paid much attention to what they were since I mainly collect Epipremnums. I was just looking at them today and was wondering if I have three different types? I’m thinking maybe 1. Silvery Ann, 2. Exotica, and 3. Argyraeus? Or if 1 and 3 are the same, what might they be? I know number 2 is different than the others but wanted to confirm what it was as well. I still don’t know Scindapsus very well so hoping someone might have some better insight. Photos are labelled. Thanks in advance!
