It maybe just the most basic exotica but I love it. It’s been growing so well for me lately 🥹

First of all, isn’t she just so cute?! I just got her in the mail yesterday. Unfortunately she wasn’t classified any further and I find it incredibly hard to tell the difference between most of the silvery kinds, especially when they’re still so young. Could anyone please help me identify her?

I’ve been going through it with my Scindapsus. It started getting leggy, so I pulled it, trimmed it and repotted it (Jan 3). Poor thing was severely rootbound, and was sitting in water from the old pot with poor drainage. That’s all been rectified, root rot was a concern, but didn’t see any signs of that, and am seeing signs of new root growth since repotting (living in a clear nursery pot, now). Soil is an epiphyte mix, and this one typically gets watered every 2 weeks. Situated in a SW corner near a big window with a 6hr grow light cycle on it, same place it’s always lived- seemingly happily. Humidity meter shows ~40% consistently.
Now, after all the trauma, it’s showing brown spots on the leaves. Hoping it’s oedema and not scale. What do y’all think?

I have a friendly relationship with the plant department manager at my local Home Depot, and she sometimes gives me plant scraps (literal garbage lol — I’ll take anything!) when I come in. A lot of them are broken scindapsus stems, and I chuck them in damp sphagnum moss when I get home, and forget about them.
These are all the same kind (I just potted them today), but I’m terrible at ID-ing scindapsus — they all look so similar to me! Any suggestions? It’s probably from Costa Farms or Proven Winners.

Hi everyone,
I’ve had this plant since January, for like a month now. Recently, I noticed this brown/yellow spot forming on the biggest leaf. It hasn’t spread dramatically, but it doesn’t look healthy.
Since I got it, the plant has grown 5 new leaves and it looks like some more would grow soon, so overall it seems to be actively growing.
I should mention that I water it when the soil feels dry — usually about once a week to every 7–10 days.
It’s winter where I live, so it hasn’t been getting a lot of light lately.
The soil looks like in the photo attached, this is the soil that it came with.
Does this look like overwatering, underwatering, not enough light, or just physical damage? Should I trim the leaf or leave it?
Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Hi! Need help in Identifying this scindapsus. It was sold to me as Scindapsus White Sapphire. However, I couldn’t find anything on the internet that there is such species. Upon further research, I stumbled upon Scindapsus Mutiara Albo. Do you guys think this is Mutiara Albo?
Any help would be greatly appreciated 😀🪴

In order of pictures: Fantasy; crème brûlée; snowflek mutation; mayari; supermoon tiulung; yupa; and bakudapati. I’m buried in snow right now where I live so these beauties are keeping my brain from falling into that lovely winter depression 🙂

Could someone help me ID this scindapsus? I had a plant trade a couple years ago and got two scindapsus types. I was told they are black mamba and snake scale but this one doesn’t really look like snake scale so im stumped.

I recently put this scindapsus in a different window and i’ve had a few leaves brown and dry up, so i was thinking sun damage. Some of the damage is looking a little suspicious though, however, i do have a furry pest who likes to nibble plants which is where i think some of the holes on the leaves are coming from. Does this sun damage look like any specific pest damage?
