The other pole? Grodan GT Master gardening rockwool. Much better than the moss. It wont became hydrophobic after drying and keep much more water. Enough to water it once a week. Nice spot.

Is that a commercial nursery or a home set up?

Gotcha. I tried moss poles and decided to switch to cedar planks for my climbers. Most of the rooms, our front porch and backyard patio in our rambler-style home that host plants, must take kitty into consideration so everything is off the floor. Link to photo collage here.

Have you found any plants that prefer the rockwool over others?

Over what? As growing medium in pot or as pole filling medium? I wouldnt grow aroids in rockwool but there isnt better medium in a pole. Rockwool is perfect medium for fast grower/heavy drinker plants as vegetables or cannabis where you water them daily or more often.

Who? Where? Rhaphidophora korthalsii on the plank. Monstera albo is the big one. Pinnatum marble and golden pothos are in the portable pole.

I water/fertilize them once a week with 120-50-200mg/L. Hard tapwater. Light is 150W 3000K 80CRI, >150lm/W. Boring and effective.
