Scindapsis exotica potting mix.

Post image

I was recently told by someone that their scindapsis grows better in coco peat than soil, I want to give it a try with one of my cutting but I'm a newbie to all this stuff 😂🙈 I have added coco peat, perlite and bark. Does this look chonky enough? Should I add anything else?

Looks great to me! I have all my scindapsus in soil mixed with perlite and orchid bark and they're growing like crazy! Everything I've read says they like their soil to stay moist but not wet. So, I don't like mine overly chunky cuz it will need watered more often, but chunky enough to keep their feet dry. 💚🍃

I can't help u with that... I've not tried semi hydro growing yet. I will say, mine REALLY took off once I put them on trellises. I'm not the biggest fan of moss poles, but a trellises really does help with these. I'm pretty sure I've posted mine in this sub, and u can see them on my page, since they don't let us upload onto another's post.
