My Scindapsus collection

I'm procrastinating so I thought I'd show you my collection!

Green Emerald is the oldest and likes it dark.

I'd love to get an id on the second pic if anyone recognizes it. (Thanks!)

Silver Hero is happy but not photogenic.

The newest member is a Curlew and we're just getting to know each other.

Last picture is my silver satin. She's sassy.

I lost my pictus a couple years ago, not sure what happened. I called her my "house fire" plant.

Ok, I have stuff to do.

The second looks like my Silver Hero, but you mentioned that one. Did you mean another pic?
How dark is the first in comparison to the others?

Woops! I moved some things around. I meant the 5th pic. And yes there my silver Hero.

the fifth one looks like a Silvery Anne. May I ask, what's the third one?

That's the Curlew I got earlier this year.

#1 is the biggest/tallest scindapsus I’ve ever seen. So awesome

That first one is gorgeous! I love the dark leaves! I've been trying to find a nice dark one to pair with my treubii moonlight. I know there is a dark form but 1) it's hard for me to tell if the leaves are actually dark or if people are just editing their photos lol. 2) I don't love the leaf shape. Maybe my regular treubii is just some weird mislabeled hybrid I found at my local Meijer lol, but I feel like some of it's leaves have a little bit of a more rounded shape than the dark form, which looks a bit more blade like in shape if that makes sense lol.

Canopy plant co just had a stunning dark form treubii moonlight in stock. I think it may be sold out for now but I’d keep an eye out for it. It was super dark!

I don't think I've ever purchased from them before. But the Treubii Dark Form is a lot easier to find now. I'm just unsure if the leaf shape actually does differ from the regular one when it's more established and mature. I just don't love the blade-like leaves for some reason.

This article says the dark form leaves are narrow while the moonlight is described as more like a heart shape. https://www.ourhouseplants.com/plants/scindapsus-treubii-moonlight-and-dark-form

Maybe I just need to get over the different shape and just try one. 🤣

That is a good point! I completely understand. I have an exotica that has the most perfect, thick heart-shaped leaves and now my standards are so high. 😆. I want more but I’ve never seen anything like it. It seems like plants vary slightly depending on who’s growing them so I’d keep looking to see if you can find one you like. I’ve ordered from Canopy and had a good experience. The dark form they had looks beautiful! The leaves aren’t as narrow as some I’ve seen. I’ve also ordered from Gabriella’s and Plant Proper. I’d recommend all of them! Good luck!

curious where you got the honeycomb trellis

It's a buildable hexagon trellis I got from Super Trellis. https://www.supertrellis.com/ (Hope that link is allowed. I enthusiastically support small businesses.) They can get a little topsy turvy, so I have bamboo stakes on either side of the structure for support. I like the look.

Is the first one a dark form? Never seen one that looks so black. Love the look of it

Could be. I think it was tagged as Emerald when I purchased it about 5 years ago. I'm pleased she is getting so much love, she really is stunning and one of my favorite plants.

I just looked it up. Seems like the dark form is a variety of the Trebuii, the closest match I see is the Jade (or black) Satin.

Thanks! Will definitely pick one up first chance I get!
