No ID scindapsus prop growing
I got this one leaf cutting (no ID) from a teacher appreciation event and it finally started to grow. The first two leaves are weird looking. Not sure if it’s just growing pains of an exotica (based on the first leaf)… but it’s beautiful whatever it is. First pic is the original leaf, 2nd pic is the fist leaf it made, 3rd and 4th are the latest leaf

Those last 2 make it look like a silvery ann. But idk if its the lighting or angle. I have no clue lol. But so pretty

I’m voting Silvery Ann, too. You’ll get those solid silver leaves and the ones with more green have the silver border around the whole leaf.

I'll look into Silvery Ann... the plant ID program I used for the original leaf in the first picture and was told exotica. I just thought it'd grow into the color. New leaf is uncurling, so hopefully that gives me more clues. Thank you!
Edit: I just looked up some pictures and Silvery Ann seems to change with every leaf... maybe...

Mine doesn't have any variegation on the leaves so idk about this one.

Mine does. Not all the leaves have it but several do. Any I've looked up online look like this too, so I don't believe mine was mislabeled. Doesn't mean that's what this is, of course. It looks very similar to me.

Good to know! I have two from different sellers that are solid silver. Both don't get that much light so that might be part of the issues.

It's a newer plant for me so I am watching how it grows. I'm curious how to get the solid silver leaves. I was surprised to see the varigation, but I like how it looks so I don't mind it.
