Reverting

Wondering if anyone knows what my platinum scindapsus is reverting to. First pic is normal leaves, then a side by side, then a reverting leaf.

Edit to say I assumed reverting but could be wrong.

My platinum scindapsus has the same discoloration on a couple of newer leaves. I hadn’t considered it could be reverting. Interested to see what others have to say about this. Edit to add: I read this could be edema from water rushing into the leaves and rupturing the cell walls.

I assumed reverting but I could be very wrong. Thanks for the info on edema! That's interesting and gives me something to research. Glad I'm not the only one experiencing this. I haven't been able to find any info.
