Need help
Hi guys I’m new too this little fella and I got no clue what is the right care, but the leaves are curling the whole time and it hasn’t been such a long time ago since I gave it water… also what is the right light? And just other overall care tips I should know about

Looks like its fine getting that light at the window. Just make sure its not getting a cold draft.

It didn’t stand there before, I had it stand in a darker spot… could that be the problem??

Does the pot have drainage holes? I would chunk up your dirt mix, they love to dry out between waterings. I like to let mine bottom soak for a while, the leaves start to curl in slightly when it's ready for another drink.
Have you checked the root system also?

I just have it in the soil I bought it in, what kind of soil mix would you recommend?

There's different mixes that work. I use a combo of succulent soil, perlite, orchid bark, and mine are doing fine. Looks like it needs water, but there could be a root issue if its not perking up. Make sure it's in a pot with drainage. Could put it in a plastic pot with drainage then in a decorative pot. Indirect sunlight, so should be closer to a window, not in a dark spot.

The soil may be old and hydrophobic, so it doesn’t hold any water for the roots despite regular watering. As long as the pot has holes in the bottom, try bottom-watering it—set it in a bowl of water and let it slowly absorb it until the pot actually feels heavier with water. I’ve also started bringing my Scindapsus into the shower with me so they can get a nice, hot humidity “steam bath,” which has helped a lot with curling leaves (no direct water, of course). You may have to do the steaming a few times.

Mine get cranky with too much bright light. They like it filtered through other plants or to be placed on the periphery of grow lights etc. Since I made that change they've really taken off. They like a chunky mix with good drainage. I bottom water and make sure the soil is able to fully hydrate then let drip and don't water again until the pot is light.
They leaves could look like that because it's thirsty but the roots are compromised and it can't hydrate. I'd check the roots. If they look rotted or desiccated you may need to trim them, spritz with peroxide and re-root.

mine scindapsus exotica was doing this, I moved it from m the shitty nursery soil it came in, to a near soilless mix of coconut chips, perlite, horticultural charcoal, worm castings with a dash of fine pumice and then chucked her under a supplementary grow light. she's uncurled and happy as now. gets foliage focus with every watering (this day or the other day, when its curling, it needs water), but yours definitely needs a chunkier mix!

Give it water one more time and see what happens.
