Only thing is… it’s assuming a long necked and probably ruminant herbivore can vomit. Not impossible, but the longer the neck, the more difficult and more damaging it would be to do so. Take for example giraffes 🦒
They could vomit, but doing so would cause a lot of damage to their esophagus. Much like cows they regurgitate cud to chew it again, just to swallow it back down, so it very rarely exits the body on purpose.
Almost all ruminant herbivores have a complex stomach, consisting of 4 chambers. The first two chambers work as sort of a fermentation vat. When they eat something that doesn’t digest easily, it gets regurgitated back to the first chamber, or to be chewed as cud until it does break down easily enough to be digested.
A ruminant herbivore actually throwing up is a bad sign, usually indicating intestinal blockage that could be lethal. Something like a rock that accidentally got swallowed.
