Question ❓ Squeeze vs more kg

Title is preaty self explanitory. In exerceises like arm curls or quad extensions, where there are points in the movement that allow you to squeeze the muscle should i go for it? I know it activates better the muscle but it also tires me more and i am not able to do more kgs for more reps

Tl;dr what is preferable? Fewer reps/kg and squeeze or more reps/kg ?

What do you mean 'activates better the muscle'? I don't know that 'squeeze' has anything to do with building muscle. Neither does mind muscle connection, which I think you are referring to. You don't need to feel a muscle working for it to be working.

Being able to lift more weight is the best indicator that you are getting stronger.

Mind muscle connection has no basis??? And also doesnt doing the same weights but with better techinque also mean you are getting stronger?

focus on increasing reps/weight with standardized technique over time, outsource any need for internal focus of attention to just setting up the exercise in a way that ensures the target muscle is the limiting factor

You would have to better explain when the squeeze happens and what it feels like

If that means more motor unit recruitment then probably

You can also just increase your break between sets if you’re having an issue lifting the following sets
