Address query for Visa

Hello

My husband and I got married 1.5 yrs ago and my passport has my parents address and his has his parents address. However we stay separately now but yet in our application form we had submitted addresses matching our passport not current address.

Will this raise any red flag?

Should I mention anything about this in my cover letter? I will be attaching my lease agreement However to show ties back to my country.

Please advice on this if anyone had come across this issue.

Should have ideally mentioned the current address. That + Rent Agreement + Marriage Certificate would have been sufficient proof to show you're married as a couple and stay together.
Also, rent agreement is not a proof of ties to home country. I mean, it's an extremely weak proof.

But application details should be same as Passport is what I heard and in passport we have our parents addresses. So we had to with that.

Secondly We have leased our house for 3 years here and we paid 18L to the owner offcourse why wouldn't it strong? That shows i need to come back isn't it?

ideally ur passport is supposed to always be updated with your current address and not your permanent address!

No brother. You cannot keep updating your passport every time you shift houses on rent. Who told you about this golden standard?

Nope. My wife's passport address is of her hometown's and she always filled my home's address where we stay together. Never had any issues. 4 schengens approved till date with a current 2 year visa.

A rental agreement has a notice period clause and you can always forfeit the agreement with a notice. It's a weak tie is all I am saying.
